Windows 8 hasn't really bothered me much and I am curious if it's more worth it to upgrade, I mostly play video games on this comp, and Windows 8 hasn't, again, bugged me on the topic, my only real fear is Fallout 3 not working again. I also heard that Microsoft wants Steam to work on Windows 10? I dunno.
Windows 10 in itself is perfectly fine, but nothing works with it yet. You can use it but enjoy not being able to use half the internet.

I don't have any issues at all. Not sure what the big deal is.

I wonder if its even possible to read about history and sociology and not want to become a terrorist, or just become suicidal.

Well, it may require that you smoke a TON of weed, but I can't guarantee that.
Would anyone like to volunteer for an experiment?

All my Win10 settings are still intact from what I can tell, and I've been keeping up with updates.

Same here, on both my surface and my gaming rig.
The only issue I have had from upgrading to W10 is that my PCIe audio card driver isn't supported and I have to use the generic one. Just a few functions I need don't work yet.

For a month, it'll leave a recovery copy of your previous Windows installation on the disc, so you could always try it out and then revert.
I'm usually pretty leery of that kind of thing because something could go wrong, but I haven't heard any horror stories yet. Considering doing it on my Surface so I can go back and see if I really miss 8.

I honestly dont know how much more I can take of YouTubes annoying ads. I cant take more of the same three stupid messages over and over again every fucking time I click on a video. Im very close to just picking up Adblock and to hell with the content creators, because its just starting to become unbearable. Not only are the commercials loud, obnoxious and repetitive, they're for products I DONT FUCKING USE.

The worst is when they load a completely different video AS AN AD. And I'm not talking about trailers or something like that, I'm talking about a video that is more than five minutes long where some guy or girl introduces themselves and declares the topic of "this video"! People are paying to advertise by making entire videos play before the completely unrelated video you actually want to watch. Thank god you can skip those after five seconds like most longer ads.

With AdBlock (not AdBlock Plus, totally different extension) you can whitelist certain Youtube channels, so you can support certain content creators and block all the other ads.
I find a lot of good Youtubers do what they can to avoid the most annoying ads (though that only goes so far).
