I don't understand how I'm suddenly a killjoy for realizing that kind of thread was useless from the beginning

I wasn't referring to the nuclear jokes thread, I was referring to the other TMI threads

When I got home from work today there was a huge moth in the house and it was SO CUTE

I caught it and thankfully my brother was there to open the back door for me so I could let it out, and while he was unlocking the door it managed to wiggle its little head out from a small gap between my hands and I just about died from how precious it was

Then it managed to wiggle its whole body out and flew out the door just as my brother was opening it and proceeded to make him jump because he's squeamish around moths.

Moths around here are really drab and brown colored to blend in with tree bark n' such, but we have some spectacular butterflies that show up in summer.

I had to put a hole in the front yard yesterday. Not very big, and didn't take long. I had shot into the ground to scare of a random stray dog and my own dog, which were both trying to kill one of my sister's three goats. Our dog had never attacked anything before, so it was a bit of a shock.

The young goat, which was born this year, was dead in the pen in the back yard, and the third goat, his mother, is missing. I doubt I'll see that goat alive again.

My sister was all "whatever" about it. She said if the third one doesn't show up, then she'll just get another one from her friend.

It really gets my goat. (I DON'T CARE IF IT'S TOO SOON FOR THAT JOKE, I'M MAKING IT ANYWAY!)

On an unrelated note, I'm sort of considering going to one of those dating websites, but probably only out of curiosity, since I don't really know what it's like to be involved with someone older than 19. I haven't been in a relationship since I was about that age, a little less than a decade ago, so there ya go.

Going to Stoke-on-Trent this weekend for my old housemate's birthday. It's where I went to uni and I haven't been since last year, so it's gonna be nice to see the place again. @v@

I think I've started snoring in my sleep. No one has said anything to me about it yet, but I keep waking up with my mouth really dry, so I'm assuming it's from snoring.

You could just be dehydrated, which is p normal since you've just gone several hours without drinking anything. But a glass of water once you wake up (and before you go to bed) should help.

Yea, I guess that could be it as well. But I drink about the same amount as water that I did a few months ago when this wasn't happening. Though it is hotter now because it's summer, so I guess that could be part of it as well. I'll start drinking more water and see if that helps.

Yesterday our bread smelled like rubbing alcohol and today it smells (and tastes) like fruity wine, but it isn't moldy or stale??

if granny benson is like me, I always wake up with a super dry mouth because I can't breathe through my nose at ALL most nights because of my summer allergies. A humidifier and a second pillow makes the going a bit easier.
