Not New Zealanders, although they are pretty swell too.

But the bird. And the fruit.

THe bird is so wonderfully useless. They have monogamous relationships for around 20 years and the female lays eggs approximately 1/4 her weight. I don't know if there are any mom's on here, but that'd be like giving birth to a 45 pound baby.

Look at this hopeless thing and tell me you don't want to have fifteen of them around for petting.




And as for the fruit, they are delicious and I can eat a thousand in one sitting.

Kiwi are adorable little fuzzballs.

I only know what Kiwis are thanks to Ninja Kiwi.

I actually have a panel from that in my avatar rotation. I was considering using the one just before it from the same comic, but I couldn't get it to work with the Hypernova generator so I'm just holding on to it for now.

Oh neat! I vaguely know that Let's Speak English comic! (Posted it in funny pics thread, haha.)

I'm not gonna lie, when you said it turns into a kiwi shaped mecha, I thought you meant the fruit. So I expected it to be a big fuzzy or spikey fruit mecha.

The weather here is interestingly crazy. A lightning storm. It's a little bit rainy, but there is lightning everywhere.

On my drive home from work I saw the most incredible lightning strike ever. I saw it start out of the corner of my left eye and crawl across the clouds to almost out of the vision in my right eye before suddenly striking the ground.

The whole process took about 2.5 seconds and it was like daylight outside, except white light. Like the shitty lighting in hospitals and dentist offices, except outside and everywhere.


It was so awesome.

I have a love-hate relationship with lightning. It's fascinating to watch and see how it branches and strikes, but I am utterly terrified of it since I was a kid. I get very bad stress, my muscles tighten to the point where I sometimes need pain meds to relax, and I can never sleep if a storm is going through while I'm awake (and if it wakes me up, fuck).

Living in Texas is bad because almost all of our rain comes with Zeus's target practice.

It's so stupid how freaked out I get at horror games. I know that none of it is real, but still I get freaked out after I play them.
