i want to quit my job

i hate it bc the store i was in where i used to live i loved it, i loved the people, i enjoyed the work, they gave me lots of different things to do so i wasn't just on register all the time, i really really liked it. this store is just...idk i just don't feel at home here like i did before, and the schedules are always awful. i am so tired all the time and i feel like i have so little time to myself. even though i only work 4hrs a day, when i get home im too tired to want to do house work or errands, and my days off im just like 'no i refuse to do anything that isn't what i want to do' so i continue to not get anything accomplished.

i have a job opportunity that's some part-time contract work, so it's temporary, but i really hope i get it so i can quit.




maybe when the contract is up i'll try a different store near me. or something. i don't know. im just tired of being tired and irritated about my schedule and the people i have to work with.

Today I realized that I don't quite like Mountain Dew as much as I thought I did.

It wasn't a bad bottle, I assume, considering the "best by" date was in September, so it must have just been the soda.

It just didn't feel right. It wasn't simply the taste (although that was an interesting cocktail on its own), it just didn't have the same kind of, I don't know, let's call it "effect", that other sodas have.

It could have been because it uses actual concentrated orange juice rather than just the usual artificial flavors. I'm not entirely sure. It just wasn't like other brands of soda.

Facial muscles are a weird thing to hurt. You know that feeling like you've been in pain for so long that you've forgotten it, and then the void when it goes away just feels weird? I had that, in my face, after I got home from work and relaxed. I realized that I've been scowling for maybe the whole day?

I wonder if anything will truely change in the long run though. People keep saying they're going to jump ship like what happened with Digg, but reddit is filled with thousands of small niche sub-communities like r/starcraft that don't really have any where else to go.

I thought it was just one subreddit that was freaking out? I don't really use reddit too often so I'm kinda out of the loop as well.
