I've seen campaigns do similar things before.

Sadly, here in the states, the "only" way to stop smoking is to scare people out of it by showing someone who lost their jaw to bone cancer, or having a diseased lung on display, or other consequences that are supposed to make people feel uncomfortable enough to quit, and the ads, unfortunately, make other people uncomfortable too.

But something like this makes people think. It doesn't try to scare them into doing something.
