Lately I've been getting angry with being strung along by various companies announcements for their games, shows, movies, etc. Things like 10 second teasers of movie trailers, announcements of when trailers are to be released, and even announcements of the days that they're going to announce things. I hate the way that marketing in the entertainment industry has basically become "let's hold everyone in suspense by being cryptic jackasses 24/7".

Whenever people use emoticons in serious debates, ESPECIALLY religious ones, it drives me up the fucking wall. WHY?!! What possible fucking reason do you have for trivializing both the argument and your own opinion AND the one of the person you're talking to, by putting A FUCKING WINKY FACE IN A POST ABOUT THE BASIS OF EXISTANCE?!!!

GRAH, I JUST WANT TO FUCKING SMASH THEIR FINGERS WITH THEIR KEYBOARD!!!

I've had my iPod touch for a week and it's already broken.

Fucking iPods are glorified pieces of shit.

I've seen people crack their screens on iPhones, Touches, etc. within a week of buying and I have seen people who have flawless products with no cases years after purchase.

It all depends on what surface you drop it on. :/

I've dropped mine on pavements and kitchen tiles.
It's like one of those Nokias.

Old Apple products had the reputation of being pretty daisies durable. Recently that seems to have gone away though, especially with those bendable iPhones...

It's not so much that it's cracked or anything but the ipod jack for the headphones is already busted, making the sound cut out frequently.

I can't keep it in my fucking pocket or anything without the ipod's jack getting somehow bent out of shape and breaking down.

This happened to my iPod nano as well, which is why I got the ipod touch in the first place. But no, it has to wear out in a week.

I tried to mock my dad for thinking that the McKinney incident had nothing to do with racism and he didn't even register it.
On the news George Takei was talking about how when he was a kid his teacher called him "The jap boy". I used (mostly) the same words my dad said about the McKinney incident to sarcastically say "It probably had nothing to do with racism, he probably just wasn't cooperating." and my dad had zero reaction to that. SOMEHOW he either didn't find anything wrong with me saying that or did and just decided to say nothing which, knowing him, is very unlikely.
His mom is Japanese.
She refused to teach him Japanese to avoid exactly that.
