Man you honestly just gotta shut that kinda shit down in a firm yet polite way. I have a friend who's big into weed, and he's been my friend for a long booty time, but I made it clear to him that I'd rather he didn't bring it to my place, or use it at my place, because I don't like it. He understood despite obviously having a differing opinion about it, so in the end we're both comfortable. I don't have a problem with people smoking weed whatsoever, nor do I have a problem with people drinking or smoking cigarettes, but I have rules at my place about things like that and I make them clear because I'd personally hate to be the guy who made someone uncomfortable while at their place by doing something there that they didn't want me to do.

Yeah, next time the issue comes up I'm going to put my foot down. I also plan to mention my concerns about her depression medication (consuming any alcohol while taking an SSRI is just about the worst thing you can do, as I understand it) to her boyfriend, since it took me a few days to realize it and I'm not sure he's made the connection yet.

Consuming alcohol while taking any kind of pill is the worst possible thing you could do

The heating has been off for weeks are you shitting me. It's one of the new not-shitty thermostats you forced your son-in-law to install for you and it's always off unless the temperature is below the one you set it to and I would never leave it on when it's over 20°C.

He moved the computer up from the comfy basement to the hellhot first floor, right next to the room that acts as a greenhouse by design so he wouldn't have to walk across the whole house to use it, mere months before stopping to use it altogether because he bought himself a notebook so he can Facebook all day long without his Fox News-wannabe TV news ever leaving his sight. I've spent half of last summer doing nothing in the basement because I couldn't stand the heat upstairs.

Update: On my way back home today I stopped at the store and bought myself a bucket of real old-fashioned super rich ice cream with chunks of solidified real maple syrup in it.

Last night my big brother told me I wasn't allowed to talk in my room when my door was open, and even if it was closed I had to speak quietly because everyone in the house can hear me. The thing is, I don't even say anything that bad. It's just me talking to Noff while we play Don't Starve and whatever. They just don't like that I talk to him, I guess. I just hate that it's more and more clear to me that this is not my house, and that it is hardly even my room. (I mean my stuff is here, and I reside in there, but it's not really mine.) It just pisses me off that I'm not even allowed to talk in "my room". Seriously? I'm upstairs. I'm not even saying anything bad. He just hates it because apparently I sound like the stupid air-headed floozy my parents seem to think I am. This is me with my guard down and being pop flyin'. If I'm not being proper and talking like a reserved young lady, I'm sorry but that's not who I am.

Also, I don't know if I've mentioned it, but my mom keeps dangling the possibilities of me going to university above my head. I swear to God, I will move out myself, take out a ton of student loans, and throw myself into debt before I have to stay here instead of pursuing animation at a university away from here. She says stuff like how I'm not responsible, or my room isn't clean enough, so she can't entrust paying tuition cheddar for such an irresponsible child/teen because I'm not really an adult to her. ..I wish I wasn't so bad about cleaning my room, sigh. Although, I know these demands she's saying are ridiculous.

Just one more year here until I can go to the university I want to go to.. (Or, if I get cheddar for it, I'll get an apartment in the fall or winter.)

My original roommate changed his room and my new roommate, from what I can find out about him, seems like someone I won't get along with. I think I'm going to make a room change request.

My sister has been a real jerk lately.

It is the worst thing I have ever been forced to use. The tofu brick that I convinced to be a calculator was able to do art programs at the very least.

This suddenly decided it doesn't even want to sign into Skype. It is the one thing I found useful aside from the annoying browser.

I can't have nice things. I am not allowed to get nice things. The only things I ever get are years behind the standards and I am so daisies sick of it.


I am very unhappy right now.

Looking at other apartments around here so I know what kind of prices I can negotiate for. Trying to figure out rent and stuff is extremely stressful.
