AdBlock Plus

I think you can enable ads on websites that are deserving, so as to not steal revenue.

I use it almost entirely because of Youtube, but also because of stupid autoplay video ads on other sites.

If you're a regular viewer of a bigger Youtuber, they probably have a merchandise store or Patreon or something - buy a shirt or toss them a few bucks, it's more than they will ever make from you just from ads. *shrug* Peaceful browsing and my conscience is clear.

I dont mind paying for content, its when the daisies ads constantly interupt my leisurly viewing that REALLY pisses me off. I havent installed adblock yet, but Im nearing the end of my rope. Is there NO daisies way for advertisment supported content to exist without being incredibly intrusive and annoying?!

Adblock Plus is dicks. They actually have contracts with ad companies to unblock ads in exchange for cheddar and essentially blackmail the others. Use this one for Chrome instead or Adblock Edge or uBlock for Firefox.

You can usually enable adblockers on a per-site basis, so you could just activate it on Youtube, for example. There are other extensions whose only purpose is to stop Flash objects from auto-playing, any of those should rid you of the worst ads. They're good for security reasons anyway, and it lets you open videos in background tabs without them starting automatically. You can also whitelist sites so you don't have to click on videos.

I recently switched over to AdBlock from Adblock Plus (two entirely different adblockers) because AdBlock has the ability to whitelist specific YouTube channels. Haven't tried it with Twitch streams yet.

I pray to God I never have to see another goddamn Unfriended trailer ever again.

Did you do so on Chrome? I kinda want to go to regular adblock but I'm on firefox and I don't want to switch browsers nor can I find the non plus version for FF.

Edit: Yeah, nevermind. Adblock plus is apparently the only thing available for firefox, so I can't whitelist youtube channels.

Adblock Edge
uBlock
Adblock Edge will be discontinued in June in favour of uBlock though. I know the Element Hiding HelperFor Adblock Plus extension works just fine with Adblock Edge too but apparently not with uBlock.
I don't think any of those support allowing specific Youtube channels but there's probably a rule you can make for that.

Yesterday's meeting, I got scolded for not using the right font for the company name. The correct font is Curlz m something. Which is not on my computer, which we all talked about last meeting so we picked a new font, you know like weeks ago. Then on top of it someone from the group PMs me that they have the font and explained that you need to save any fliers as a .PDF so the font doesn't get messed up on someone else's computer. All of which is great but will not help me in the slightest.

Do you guys remember that dude that I mentioned that gave some lady a death threat as a joke? Well today, he considered drugging everyone in his Spanish class during a fiesta that the Spanish classes always have where everybody brings food. The only reason he said that he wouldn't was because he would probably go to jail for it. What kind of fucked up do you have to be even consider doing something like that and only feel bad because you'll get in trouble?

I used to be like that (not caring what happened to others as long as I didn't get in trouble with Mom) when I was ages 4-9.

I spontaneously developed a conscience at some point around Age 10 and feel bad if I even hurt a fly.

I can understand when one's still a kid to be like that, since kids for the most part think everything is all about them, but when you're almost becoming a goddamn adult...

Ah, thanks Obno, even if I can't whitelist youtube channels it's good to be have some decision in what it blocks.

Hey kids! Do you know what time it is?!
It's the Airra Complains About Her Aunt Show!

Today on ACAHAS:

Airra's aunt marches into the room and demands that she and her brother go outside to do yard work!
They put on their shoes and hop right outside! What a spectacular display of diligence!
Her aunt spent the ENTIRE half-hour complaining into the phone about how everyone refuses to do anything that involves any sort of effort, thereby forcing her to do all the work herself!
Meanwhile, Airra and Brorra were following the given instructions to the letter through the furious stream of profanity!
Airra even went ahead and did extra tasks that weren't even asked!
The heroic duo then went inside without any acknowledgement of their efforts!

What will happen next?
Find out next time!

It took me a second to realize that Brorra wasn't you randomly giving your brother's some-kind-of-exotic name, and was instead a play off of your username. And then I felt silly for not figuring it out sooner.

When I read Brorra, I can't help but think of a frat boy Korra.
