Father bitched at me for turning on the heating in the tiny room I spend all my awake time in because how dare I want to be able to feel my toes when it's -30°C outside and not have my pet turtle freeze to death. It's not like the heating system is shit and you already bought a replacement but don't want to spend the 10 minutes it would take to install it so you're just going to wait until the summer for your daughter's boyfriend to do it for you.
Meanwhile he's pop flyin' to be paying monthly for HDTV even though the only two channels he ever watches but still cannot tell apart are free and his decoder can't do HD and he never turns that shit off even when he leaves but clearly I am the frivolous waster of ressources.
It would be nice if any member of this stupid family (myself included) was able to interact without the involvement of passive-aggression.
Or if my relationship with my parents had ever been better than that of cranky unrelated housemates.

Why are glasses so expensive. I have a condition called "lazy eye" that means my right eye is perfect but my left eye sucks. Living with a disabled mother (she has MS, a debilitating neurological disease) and my grandmother, meaning we don't have a lot of a cheddar. But the glasses i need cost upwards of 200$ and we don't have remotely close to that.

I went outside to help bring groceries inside. My aunt started complaining about people. She then started indirectly blaming me for things.
When I started trying to get her to stop, she told me not to call her out on things and to stop making it into a problem.

Fucking weight painting in Maya is driving me up the god daisies wall...again! Ugh, I hate rigging higher poly (around 9k polys) models because of this crap.
On the plus side, I feel this rig is working better than my last one. Actually got the neck/shoulder/body/root locators to work correctly with the head.

I, too, am having trouble with rigging, and my mesh only has roughly 5000 polygons.

Around 5k is the normal poly count for me. The other problem was that the mesh was in separate pieces (arms, legs, torso, and head) so it was difficult to paint the influences correctly in the connecting areas. Luckily, I was able to combine all the limbs into one mesh (this isn't my model just fyi). I did have to correct the UVs, since they overlapped, as well as the textures. Hopefully, I can finish up the weight painting by tomorrow and get to animating this thing, though I was just given another part of it so I'll have to see how that's going to work out now.

Looking at apartments over the weekend.
A dozen generic and more-or-less identical apartments: Sure, terrarium pets are fine.
The one apartment that is actually cool: ABSOLUTELY NO REPTILES.

Alright, I'm feeling wonderfully creative and I have a whole ton more mental energy than I usually do, today! It's time to listen to music and take steps toward furthering the cause of the artistic world!
Oh wait. My headphones are shorting out, causing all the music to sound like garbled messes of mumbles and clicks.

Picked out a fresh pullover from my closet because I'm super cold, and it smells pretty bad. This isn't the first time this happened, a couple other clothes smelled like this too, despite just coming fresh out of the wash. Sniffing out my closet to see if the source comes from there, but everything's fine...
Maybe my dogs developed super stank, so even when it's washed it smells like it's been pulled out of a dumpster.

The same thing was happening to me.
My Issue was I left it in the washer too long after washing and got kinda mildewy, which after drying and sitting in the closet for a long time makes most other clothes smell like wet dog.

Yup, fabric tends to hold onto whatever odor it is left around. Kind'a like how uncovered food in the fridge tends to taste like "bodaciously everything I've eaten in the past month" after about a day.

I hate that. I always smell like smoke because my mom and sister smoke all the time.

My Mom used to smoke constantly.
It got to the point that people would constantly ask me about whatever habits because my clothes always smelled strongly of various smokes. I also never had a wide selection of clothes, so I'd have to wear stuff multiple times before laundry day.
