Even people who arent openly or even consciously racist watch shit like this because it affirms subconscious prejudices AND makes them feel good about being white and American. Tacking on incredibly shallow and insincere moral angsting also makes them feel less guilty for enjoying watching brown people that dont belive in Jesus get massacred.

As for why old western stars turn out to be dicks, theyre usually from the South and usually conservative, a combination that might as well come with a KKK membership for the percentage of racists it holds.

No matter how many times I tell my brother not to upload shit to youtube while I'm around because it slows down the internet to pre-dialup speeds for a good 4 hours (it took me 30 minutes to navigate from the main AZ page to this reply box, and the CSS on the main site failed to load) he continues to wait until seconds before he goes to bed to hit "upload".
I'm done being polite. I'm outright telling him to start doing it in the morning when I'm not awake and he's the only one using the internet. If he keeps doing it I'm hiding his internet dongle thing. It's bad enough we're being throttled by our ISP because of how much he uploads per week (He uploads 2 different versions of the same video to three different hosts AT ONCE and it's always 1080p and around 20-30 minutes long) but actually trying to use the internet is completely impossible.
