Re: Things that piss you off
That's all fine and dandy, except my parents also want me to start taking classes again soon, which means that my student loans get deferred again, so why the fuck do I need two or three jobs when I'm going to have school on top of that? My sister does that and she's almost never home and is always at least semi-grumpy.

"You can't spend $8 to buy food from Arby's one time, son! You don't have a job! By the way, we want you to pay $20 a month for your cell phone and pay us rent to live in your own fucking house. Does your sister pay rent? HA HA HA HA HA. We're doing this because this is the 'real world'."

Re: Things that piss you off
So, I went to the bathroom to piss after lunch today, and I went in a stall because I hate urinals. Anyway, a few seconds after I started, this stupid fucking useless piece of shit cunt decided it would be funny to throw a cup full of tobacco spit on the ground and some of it splashed over the stall into my eye. Then he left before I even got to see who it was. My God, it rustled me off.
Also, I've been tempted to talk to my ex all day and that bothers me. It's just not been a good day.

Re: Things that piss you off
I don't like living with my family, but then I realize that they pay my tuition, I can't drive yet (I'm 19), and even with my work salary I'd only be able to pay for like, one month's rent. Plus, I'm gonna have to find a new job in 2015 cause I'm seasonal. I guess I still have the same complaints I've been having since I was in high school. Now I'm just more calculative about them.

I've been in the exact same situation as you, Angelic. I've wanted to move out for years now, but I knew that as soon as I packed up and left that my tuition would stop, my car would be gone and I'd have no way of living on my own.
Graduating from college was a big load off my mind, but I'm still not prepared to live on my own and it really sucks.

I love it when finals are about stuff we've never seen in class.

INCOMING RAGE THIS IS THE ANGRIEST I'VE BEEN IN A WHILE
So I was slightly pleased because due to a guy quitting I've gotten some extra hours this week, which meant I was likely to hit overtime. It wouldn't have been much (like 1-2 hours, tops) but it felt like a nice bonus considering that I came in on two of my days off to take over this guy's hours, including interrupting a nice dinner with friends from out of town.
Yesterday I was at 33 hours and I came in to help out this morning. As I leave I happily look down at my clock out sheet and see those terrible words:
"Hours this week: 26"
What the actual goddamn hell. If this is real and not just a computer glitch, this is honest to god theft. Even if it is a glitch, I'll have to fight it to get my real hours in there. Not to mention that today is the end of the pay period so everything needs to be fixed by tonight or else it'll be an uphill battle trying to get everything straightened out.
I do go back in tonight, so I'll see if it's really just a glitch or not. But if it's not a glitch and they think they can take hours from me, they know not the dragon they face, for I am the only one in the company that actually keeps every clock out sheet. Every single one. I have the proof, you fools; try to escape this if you dare.

Re: Things that piss you off
Told my parents I was interested in Culinary Arts and wanted to help make dinner at home.
Look for jobs today.
Get home, Mom already has dinner is already in the oven.
Me: "I thought I was helping with dinner...?"
Mom: "You were out looking for jobs! There was nothing I could do!"
YEAH EXCEPT MAYBE CALL OR TEXT ME.

Re: Things that piss you off
I just realized I forgot to go back and answer the question I skipped because it was too infuriating so I will lose at least 10% on that stupid final and it's all my fault because this has happened before but I'm too moronic to learn to triple-check so I'll have an awful(er) grade because the whole daisies thing was nothing but questions about things we had never seen in class and we couldn't infer anything from what little we did learn and this fucking semester can't end early enough die die die

Well, this isn't really in her defense, but at least it's better than her yelling at you "Where were you? We're all waiting for dinner!"

Re: Things that piss you off
Turns out I overreacted about the hours thing, as when I clocked out for my evening shift everything was correct.
Still gonna' report it though, because what if I hadn't had a second shift today? Woud it have stayed wrong in the system? Some people only work mornings, so this might affect them too.
And I did end up getting that tiny fraction of OT pay, yisssss.

Re: Things that piss you off
My mom and dad are having trouble with their business's mail and website servers and it's stressing me out worrying if they're making all the right decisions to fix it.
Burn 'em to shreds, tear 'em to ashes.

I smashed one edge of my nail off reaching for a wrench, and now everything I do with my thumb hurts. Now it hurts even when I'm not doing anything.
