If such a thing could be proven, I would bet my entire fortune that the thought process behind most people who are against feminism isn't "I have reason to disagree with feminism" but "I want to disagree with a feminist".

So apparently there's a outrage over Matt Taylor, the guy who landed a probe on a comet, and the shirt he wore which people are saying is sexist. Apparently there are people opposed to the outrage who, instead of arguing whether or not the shirt is nothing to be upset about, think that the two points are related, and are defending the latter with the former. What kind of shitty logic is that? So what, you think sexism can be justified? Not avoided or disproved as existing, but justified? I can usually get over people making the decision to be wrong but something about this has just completely emotionally drained me.

Last year my friend gave me a bass guitar for my birthday that he got off his uncle for 40 bucks. He's the same friend that I posted about yesterday in the sad thread about us not being friends anymore. Well now he wants that bass back. I guess I'll give it to him. Kinda a dick move on his part though. This whole ordeal feels like getting out of a break up or something.

I don't really care to give it to him. He's really moody most of the time, and the less drama I can keep from this, the better. It's a pretty shitty bass anyway, I've been planning on buying a new one for some time now. This just gives me more of a reason to get one.

While valid, in theory, I can't help but think that that's the ideal situation. People will find things to bitch about regardless of what ammo you give them.
