I'm living with a Psycho. not like, Dexter. But someone who acts like she's about to blow a gasket.
Just for today's example. I woke up to 17 (yes 17. I counted, including the ones I came home to last night) Angry post its around my house. I haven't really been home the last few days, so coming home to them was kind of a shock and it made me angrier than you can imagine. But I slept on it, and dint do anything rash, as much as I wanted to. But She fired warning shots.
So naturally, I responded back with a calmly written letter expressing my concerns. nothing major. Just a proposition about chore schedules, Dishes and how her actions are stressing me the fuck out and how I'm uncomfortable in my own home. I basically told her
'" Heres how I want to do things. Heres how I want to do it, Is this okay?" And gave her two options because of her behavior; Talk it out with an arbiter or she has to sublet her half of my apartment.
Nothing rude, right?
Well, I get home today. I'm is informed we are "talking to a mutual friend" And I respond "Okay. But your notes really hurt me. Like a lot."
Roommate rears up and calls me a "Fucking bitch" before slamming her door at me.
did
Did I warrant that much disrespect for saying that her actions hurt me? I'm more hurt than angry guys. I'm at the end of my rope and I have no idea what to do.
Help me. Please AZ
Whoa, sorry, didn't see this until now. I don't think you really did anything wrong. Definitely talk to an, umm, arbiter, I guess, about this situation.

Time for some advice soup from Auntie Riku's kitchen:
Look man, I get that you're most likely at an age where you're still growing into your personality, and you're testing every boundary you can (whether you realize it or not), but it really is unnecessary and unseemly to deliberately do something to annoy someone else when you've been asked to stop.
This is not to say that you need to censor your humor all the time, but for the sake of avoiding conflict, maybe keep the known irritants to the circle who will find it funny, yeah?
(This applies to everyone on the forum, by the way. Not just individuals mentioned in this issue. Although the age part might only be relevant for half of you)
Now clear your dishes and move on to a different game.

On the subject of things majorly getting my goat
the afternoon route on the school bus was pretty tense and annoying today. The regular bus was in for repairs (it was TWO THOUSAND MILES OVERDUE for servicing, among other issues) so we had to ride a sub bus. The kids were all pretty confused about it but one of my 'trouble' kids was the worst.
First I sat the student on one side of the bus because that's where a seatbelt was that suited the trick I use to keep them buckled, but since the window was on their one side they decided to lean over and thump their head on the window repeatedly. When I tried to adjust the seatbelt to make it harder for them to get to the window they tried to hit me (again...). I realized that the seat I usually take had the right kind of seatbelt, and it was on the correct side of the bus, so I moved the student there (after like five minutes of prodding) and buckled them in, then sat in the seat across the aisle.
MEANWHILE, since there weren't enough seatbelts, I told this other kid that they could sit wherever they wanted today since they're the oldest kid on the bus pretty much and I was like 'you're a big kid you can handle it'
stupid mistake on my part, right
they decided to sit BEHIND another kid (gonna call them kid B). Kid B likes to play around with this little toy that makes noise. It keeps them pop flyin', but kid A was getting all irritated at the sound and this is a kid that has been violent before. I warned kid A to keep the afternoon ride a good one but I watched them like a hawk until they got off the bus (suggested a couple times that they go to another seat but they didn't comply).
We're getting the other bus back tomorrow and I'm glad, because all the kids can go back to their original seats. But I'm sure not going to miss this route--and I don't think my driver is going to miss those kids much either when they go on to middle school next year.

We got a McAfee subscription when we bought the computer and now it's expired. It causes an error in downloading some games. It won't let me disable it while the subscription's expired so I have to uninstall the daisies thing. Crappy interface ahoy!

I've pretty much only got today and tomorrow left to prepare for school exams, if things do go in my favor, I'll be packing stuff on friday and be on a short trip to my parents until sunday evening. My last free day was last week monday, which I spent taking care of personal things, and this sunday, otherwise I'm gone the whole daisies day, I simply do not have the time for anything.
If only it was one exam I could learn for, but no, it's two exams taking place on the same day - one of them being a presentation and I need to prepare a poster and shit. As of the time I'm writing this, I only have 40 minutes left now before going to bed - if I wasn't so goddamn tired already.

I can't try anything because anything I do is perceived as being an aggressor.
So I've discovered that this problem I went over before is complicated by the fact that my mother suspects there's something wrong with my father, mentally, and that he's finding reinforcement from denying it. Given her medical knowledge, she's suspecting early onset Alzheimer's, but it's all speculation because my Dad won't go see anyone "official" about what's making her see this issue. Part of the concern is that it means he's flying off the handle more and becoming more drastic with his reactions to more situations than what he'd only have a mild reaction to before. I can't do anything about this because he won't talk about it, and he "becomes visibly upset" when I talk to my mother about it, even when he's not directly, or indirectly a part of whatever conversation we'd be having. Of course now, I can't respect undiagnosed issues. This SJW business has done a great job at nailing that down in my philosophy. I can't know if he really does have this serious issue, or if he's just finding reinforcement in this avoidant behavior that, ironically, was something he scolded me about when I was younger. I was constantly taught "You never just walk away from a conflict! You solve it!" and now, because of this suspected, undiagnosed mental issue, he's started to do just that.
It's frustrating. The only good that's coming out of this is it's proving the idea I've always had that if you have an issue with someone, or someone is either directly, or indirectly involved with some issue you're having (even if they're not causing it), you get them involved.
Either that, or you stop bitching about it being an issue at all, because you're not doing anything that will constructively solve it.
Personally, I just want this to be an issue that stops coming up, because this very thing happened with a friend of mine, where I was apparently doing something he didn't like, and instead of working through it he found it more suitable to walk awya and leave me to draw whichever conclusions I could with what little information I had.

I've actually been told that my IQ is equal to a 18-year old's.
Then again, the IQ test is flawed.
I just keep on with the

It's not a pun.
What you like are really bad jokes.
And the importance of IQ is not only subjective, but has nothing to do with your intelligence or personality.

Trouble student was at it again today, not wanting to get off the bus this afternoon. After a few minutes of trying to talk them into standing up I tried to pull them out of their seat and they just turned into complete dead weight. This is a big kid, like 11-12 years old, and I didn't want to hurt myself or them and it was really awkward trying and failing to lift them out of a bus seat. My bus driver finally goaded them to the front of the bus with candy, and they immediately tried to sit down again and turned into dead weight when I caught them under their arms. I had to bring my knee up under them to keep them from sitting down.
The kid apparently thought the whole matter was hilarious, since they were laughing the whole time I was trying to drag them off the bus. Finally the kid's parent showed up and got them to cooperate.
I used to toy with the idea that maybe in a few years I would go back to college and get credentials to be an art teacher, but this is making me reconsider that.
