Things that piss you off

Oh. I just thought there were a couple phrases that seemed...a little too direct of a translation. like "You know what..." I actually didn't know you were a Spanish speaker.

It won't stop for like 2 days, get used to it.
Granted I was asleep for the first 24 hours of mine, but it still sucked.

I've come to realize that I hate when people mock improper grammar that isn't actually improper grammar. Because improper grammar would be grammar that causes you to misunderstand what's being said, not saying "who is you" rather than "who are you". In what situation would both of those, or even just "who you" not mean the exact same thing? I realize now that "fuck you" isn't the response to just people who say that prepositions are something you can't end a sentence with.

Functioning grammar is different from proper grammar. Just because you can understand it doesn't mean that it's correct.

Okay, so because I couldn't eat anything for the first 24 hours or so, I am now in that stage of hunger where actually eating anything makes me sick to my stomach.

I keep trying to eat things like half a banana (almost caused me to throw up) and some bread slices and my body keeps saying "Noooo, don't do that, here, lie down and sleep for another three hours."

Body, I am trying to give you fuel so that you don't die, stop making this hard for me.

While vacuum cleaning, a small, yet very heavy stool from the changing cabins slipped my hand and smashed into my toe. Shit hurt so badly, I had to turn off the vacuum and call my boss to go to the register for me. I was running around the rest of the evening without my shoe, and also called roomie to come pick me up because I couldn't drive like this.

Shit is so fucking swollen and red, I can't move it at all anymore. Atleast the pain went back for the most part, but I still hope that I can go to work tomorrow. If it gets any worse, I'd have to go to a special doc because it's actually an accident on the job, ugh.


Apart from that, my boss lately really seems to constantly lash out against me, she doesn't even seem to care anymore if it was my fault or not. Unfortunately, I have no clue how to bring this up against her, if she's got a problem with my work she should tell me, and not constantly talk me down, it's starting to take a toll on me.

Just go to sleep. You can live for a month without food, but going without for a day or so until your stomach settles will be infinitely preferable to vomiting it all up anyway. It doesn't count as a meal if it doesn't stay down long enough to get the nutrients.

It's hard to stay motivated with work when there's a month delay for our paychecks. It's going to feel like working two months for one check (because I just started working and this is my first real month). At least I've got some housesitting work to supplement my income.

Spent the day cleaning up everyone else's fuck ups at work. We've also got two new people coming in and they're spending their first couple of days with the most inexperienced one out of all of us.
I don't hate my job, I just wish people would pay attention the first time you show 'em y'know.

One of my friends has had his bachelor degree cancelled due to a bug. Then he was told he didn't make it into the second year of his degree, even though he was told he did. Then, considering he wasn't a student (he hadn't a bachelor degree anymore), his grant was cancelled too. And then his landlord told him he had to be gone before the end of the week. Then the government sent him a letter saying his sickness was too rare to make him eligible to recieve cheddar to pay his medicine.
I love this world.

Regardless, I'm not sure "letting it happen" is the healthiest of coping strategies. I mean hell, at that stage, what does he really have to lose by jumping into the legal situation. I'm guessing a good number of foundations actively screwing him over are counting on him hesitating with legal action.
