Everything I do on the internet isn't working. I asked a question on something to see how I could get it to work, and that isn't working too. Blurgh.

Yet another thunderstorm warning over all of Washington. The good thing about thunderstorms is the potential of rain to help put out the fires. But thunderstorms also come with power outages and lightning.

we had not a lot of thunder and bunches of rain and wind for a few minutes. I wish it would rain more. I'm tired of these 1-2-no-thank-you weather spats.

Moving to my sister's old bedroom was actually an improvement. The mattress is super hard, but at least it's even and not filled with mold, and since it's not a futon I have room for my legs, which is a nice first for me. Though the bed is too high for the chair I put my laptop on so it makes it uncomfortable, but still, I no longer have to endure the sound of the washing machine, dryer, dehumidifier or whatever since it's a closed room with a door. Things improving! Shocking.
College starts next week so I was trying to go to sleep earlier tonight to get back to a normal sleep schedule because I'll actually have classes before 11 AM this semester (bleh) when I felt something walking on my leg and I brushed it off with my hand, thinking it was the tiny spider that crawled on me yesterday. I stood up and turned the light on just to make sure, but didn't see anything and I even moved the comforter around to see if it wasn't hiding underneath. Then I turned the light off but felt something running up my arm immediately after I started pulling the conforter. Turns out it was the biggest, thickest spider I have ever seen in the house, and it was now on my pillow.
Chances of going back to sleep in that room in the near future: gone.

my boyfriends says i'm a drain on him and i shouldn't complain or be negative around him in anyway.
i think that's completely unrealistic though to expect someone to never vent or be upset or complain around them?
also he complains and vents to me all the time!
what should i do?

Either stop dating people who are needlessly self-centered, or explain to him that you think it's unrealistic, and note that he does the very thing he asks you not to, in the hopes that you two can come to an agreement about what behaviour falls within the other's needs.

It's not a healthy and good relationship however you decide, Nachalnik

I will repeat what has already been told to you several times:
If he really flips his shit and bails on you over something that stupid, then just letting it end will almost definitely be healthier for you. Besides, you two seem to have quite a few major ideological differences anyway.
I am no counselor or therapist, but to me, it looks like you really have attachment/abandonment issues that seriously cloud your judgement when it comes to your own emotional health. You honestly need to get a bit more secure with yourself before you can really be a good partner to someone else. I'm not saying that you're a bad girlfriend, but just remember that before you can meet someone else's needs, you have to make sure you're meeting your own. Having a crush is fun and all, but hold off on any committing relationships.

How about you send him the post you just made word for word.
If he doesn't care he's a douche. If he does ot't a discussion starter and maybe you can figure something out.
I know you care a lot about femenist talking points, and your situation right here is a good example of an abusive relationship instigated by your shitty boyfriend. You don't need to be with him to be pop flyin'.

it's not like this all the time though

That's the mindset of a lot of people in abusive relationships. "They're not like this all the time." "They say they love me." "They do nice things for me."
Just because your boyfriend might not act like this all the time doesn't mean you're not allowed to dislike the things he does that hurt you. And you're certainly allowed to point those things out to him and try to work things out. If he's unwilling to listen, then maybe the relationship isn't worth it--EVEN IF it's not like this 'all the time'.

Well with the frequency of your forum posts about this topic being high I would hazard to say you paint a good picture of how things go usually.
Plus even if you only say he doesn't give a shit about your feelings a couple times, it doesn't change the fact that he doesn't give a shit about your feelings.
