i got impatient last night and didn't let the silicone on this mask set completely before i put on the mothermold/removed it from the sculpt and now i have to try to let it cure quickly and i'll have to sand some marks off of the cast when it's off and just ugh i'm so mad at myself......i might have fucked up a really big part of it too so i'm feeling a bit nauseated right now. i don't have time to redo it.

also just in general i have about 5 million things to do in two days and i'm very stressed and i don't know if kyle will be able to take off tomorrow to help me because he forgot to put in his time yesterday and i think they might require more than a day's notice if you want to take off :[

The kids themselves were the customers, and they kept coming in every 5 or 10 minutes for a solid hour, and they were asking me the price for every single item, or what it was, or if it's edible.

One of them was definitely in school already, like 9 years old, and at one point she asked me where she can see the prices, so I showed her where she has to check. Sure the numbers are HUGE, but there are 6 different prices for different countries, so I could understand the confusion. But after that? Kept asking.

And they bought every single item seperately.

Item.

Bought something, went back to somewhere in the store, or picked something else up
And then asked me about the price again.

And then they left. And five minutes later they were back, and picked up something new.

And then everything repeated itself.

Stepdad's family is here for a surprise visit (at least it was a surprise to me, I don't know how long they were planning this but it seems very spontaneous). They're fairly annoying in their own ways but honestly my stepdad is the one really pissing me off. Ordering me around and then getting rustled when I do something the tiniest bit wrong.

So there was an issue at the guardshack regarding a "missing object" of a "sensitive nature" and I was lucky enough to be at least one of the ones interrogated about it.

And I mean interrogated.

It quickly went from a matter of "This is a chance, in case you have it, to give it back with little issue" to "we think you have it, so just give it back". Yeah, except at some point, you lot should probably realize that fear mongering only works if the person a) has the object in question and b) is feeling actual fear instead of frustrated anger. Someone else finally found the daisies thing. There's a rumor out that someone DID take it, but their plan was to just pull someone in, have them spread the rumors that they were negotiating people, and hopefully get the real culprit afraid enough to come out of hiding.

They picked the right person at least, I was livid...

...especially since the only reason I was brought in was someone forged my name.

The fact that I'm awake in the middle of the night because of a one-sided argument where I wasn't allowed to defend myself or even apologize due to the bullshit excuse of "discussions hurt feelings" (and mom is still terrified that I'm going to tell one of her 5,000 secrets she hides from people if I get the slightest bit mad). The fact that I feel this shitty and trapped because I'm never allowed to say my side or resolve petty bullshit makes me want to be done with my family even more. I'm tired of feeling like I should be grateful because there is something worse in the world than what I'm dealing with. Tired of being treated like the most delicate and fragile idiot who needs his hand held for the simplest tasks yet expected to rise above my peers and be self sufficient. Tired of giving my all and busting my booty only for the response at the end of the day to be "is that all?". Tired of being expected to keep my own life in order foremost, but drop everything for the sake of family.

I'm just tired of not being a member of this family. Of being the anomaly. Of feeling like people tolerate me because they have to or because I'm useful enough to keep around.

I need out of this before I go fucking insane.

But of course the rain started right as two guys brought in $10 worth of empty bottles and left them to rot in an uncrossable pile in the storage room and then mutated into a storm right as I was moving the dirty, drippy bags and crumbling boxes to the warehouse while being constantly interrupted by customers, and them stopped immediately, immediately after I was done and completely wet. Of course.

Grandparents that are comparing their survivors guilt for my want to go on a vacation is ludicrous and everyone is trying their hardest to make me feel terrible about myself for wanting to do my own things and comparing me to my "more accomplished" cousins. Meaning that because they've been able to hold a job since they were twelve and can pay for their own tuition means they are better then me. Meaning that they listen to their insane "never leave" parents means they're better then me. Everyone is just better then me and I am a terrible pile of trash.

forgot it in my car yesterday in the sun/heat and the gloss topcoat on the bottom half fucking bubbled up. the paint job is ruined. i have to strip it and repaint it and i only wore it for two days, sob.

not as devastated as i would have been had it been destroyed completely but it'll take probably half a week to strip it safely and half a day to repaint it, ugh

Two major appliances have started fucking up since some contractors were here to "renovate" the bathrooms. The A/C started leaking heavily (thank god it still works) and now the water heater isn't doing the only job it's made for. The heater is under the A/C so it seems likely the leaking caused a short in the heater, but no one noticed any telltale burning smells and the breaker didn't trip.

I'm not saying the guys broke something, but it's a strange coincidence.

I just spent like an hour-and-a-half agonizing over tweeting some guy about drawing a Pokemon because I lack the basic amounts of self-efficacy needed to survive.

The internet at my brother's house makes me appreciate the internet at my house more.

It cannot handle multiple devices connecting to it at the same time, despite having a set-up to allow multiple devices to connect. Sis-in-law was using her camera which connects to the wifi to transmit photos directly to her computer and the internet was bogged down for more than 6 hours today just with that, not to mention that all of their TV is through their Xbox and iPads which means if someone wants to watch TV (mainly the kids), everyone else has to get off.

We don't even have lots of stuff at home to draw off of our internet there, but I've even had friends come over before and hooked up a bunch of laptops to the internet without a noticeable drop in speed.

And I think they're paying more than us despite the shitty high cost we're paying and I don't know what the deal is.
