There's so much porn of the Splatoon characters already and it's all uncomfortably young looking and when I made a post expressing my frustrations about it on tumblr someone insulted me and it's just how can you be defending borderline child porn why would you do that you sick bastard.

Eyes are watering, getting annoying when combined with my glasses.

My tablet found yet another way to annoy me, but this time nothing I can fix myself and I actually have to hand it in to repair.

Hopefully they'll actually take it and not just look at it and go "lol", like with my PSP. And then it might be up to 4 weeks in which I can't draw shit, goddammit.

Mom and grandparents are calling Muslim people "towel heads" and complaining about how they don't have to take off their "towels" at the airport, but other people have to take off their scarves and whatnot.

That like asking a nun to remove their habit.

And yes, they are indeed conservative Christians.

Edit: Oh, and I forgot to mention: Not five minutes after that conversation, an Asian family was crossing the street, and they said, "Oh, remember them from the store? Ching chong bing bong! They were driving me crazy with their Chinese speaking! Ching chong bing bong!"

I am completely embarrassed and shocked at how racist and intolerant some of my family members can be.

Urgh, that's actually really painful.

Like it's bad enough when people are racist and have assumptions about other cultures, but to make fun of people like that... and think themselves witty...

I said to my dad today that he was always talking about how everything is terrible. Like, "Why go to McDonald's for a Fish sandwich when we can go buy fish filets at the store? McDonald's shit is bad for you!" and "Y'know the president is a criminal and he ought to be arrested, right?" and "I heard from some of my Native American brethren (he's super white) that they were really screwed over a while back by Andrew Jackson and the bankers." He keeps taking it upon himself to remind me that the world is an ugly place, when I just wanna get a Fish Sandwich at McDonald's because I haven't had one in a while. He also mistakenly thinks that I'm interested in conspiracy theories that he believes to be truths, and also that I would even care about a group of savages who would've been in a perpetual cycle of tribal warfare anyway. Seriously, now that our country is less racist and more honorable, those Native Americans have a pretty sweet deal living in this great country of ours. He may be right about some of the points he makes, but I really could not give a shit about how Obama is ruining the country with ineptitude.

So I told him about how it was tiring to hear him complain constantly about whatever he felt like, and he told me that I should listen to him more because he knows what he's talking about and I don't. He then brought up that he never called me out on talking about bullshit I was interested in (mostly because I don't talk about it because he's an old man). He also said that I wasn't someone anyone aspired to become. I've come to terms with this so this didn't make me freak out or anything, mostly just made me confused. But then he did the most unforgivable thing: he started talking about how Obama's treachery of the treasury with some shit about bankers or something like that, I don't really know, I just remember frowning and my eye twitching a lot while he drove the rest of the way home.

Later that day, I noticed that the list of chores my mom gave me I had placed on the fridge had some writing on it: "DON'T LEAVE THIS TRASH ON MY CLEAN FRIDGE, YOU BITCH!" I asked my dad if he was the one who wrote that. He said yes, and told me that he had had it with my mom always trying to control everything all the time. I told him I had placed the list of chores on the fridge, and that he should apologize to mom. He said there's no way he was apologizing to that bitch. I later saw him on his cellphone, so maybe he apologized to mom. I dunno, at this point he's both trash and somewhat a kind person.

Then, at 5 AM in the morning, he comes into my room to play Solitaire on the computer, turns the light on so he can see the computer screen(?), and starts clicking away. An hour later, he attempts to strike up a conversation with me about... I dunno, but I gave little "hmph"s and "uh-huh"s throughout while listening to music. "Irrelevant" was a word that bounced its way around in my head for a bit. Then he walks over to the side of my bed and picks up a flash drive from my nightstand.

"Y'know, it took 16 of these babies to take down all those airplanes. And all those airplanes got improvised weaponry in the back, so those air marshals had to have done the hijacking themselves. What else could have happened?"

I really hope this man dies of natural causes or gets arrested for treason (hell, I wouldn't mind if he got taken out by one of his imagined conspiracies). My father was good to me, but he fuckin' suuuuuuuuuuucks. I mustn't become like him.

Getting almost exterminated to the point where the current population is about 5% of what it originally was and the remainder having abnormally high rates of alcoholism and suicide is a sweet deal? Dude, your dad sounds like a weird guy, but you really sound like a fucking dick.

Oh, please! What the USA has now is more than a thousand times what all those tribals could have ever hoped to accomplish. The conquering and genociding of the Natives is a downright immoral part of our nation's history, but it was ultimately fruitful for Americans everywhere.

So, genocide and systematic extermination of both population and culture is okay, because it led to you directly benefiting from it? Because the Natives sure as fuck didnt come out ahead, unless you think that becoming almost extinct in their own land "fruitful" while descendants of their ancestors butchers gorge themselves.
