The bagel place I go to for my Sunday breakfast/lunch apparently decided to cut back on their paninis by making them smaller for the same price.

THANKS OBAMA!

Today in World's Biggest Fuckup: Obnosim attempts to accomplish a trivial task like a real person and is thwarted by his own incompetence

I had pet food to buy and checks to retrieve at work and deposit at a bank and I wanted to go see stuff in two different stores (one of which is inside of the mall and I have 50$ in gift-cards for any store in that mall, the other one is just outside of it and I have a 40$ gift-card for that one). Just as I was leaving I realized I had forgotten my wallet like an idiot, so I went back to get it and then realized that my insurance paper thingie wasn't in it because I took it out at some point during the last month and was about to just throw it away. Then I went to the nearest gas station, completely forgetting to stop at the store I work at to get my check, then zigzagged my way through the construction sites in the city to reach the bank, and only as I was done finding a place to park in did I realize I had also left my other checks at home. So I got back in my car and left the parking lot to go to the mall and because of the construction there was a spot without asphalt between the parking lot and the street and it was deeper than I thought so I guess my car might be broken now, then proceeded to park near the wrong entrance of the mall so I had to walk all the way through it without making eye-contact with people because what if somebody knows me and says Hi ?! Then I reached the store and asked the clerk lady to tell me how much is left on my gift-cards and wouldn't you know, one of them was inexplicably empty and the other one was expired. So I crawled all the way back to my car and then drove to the other store to compare prices, then I mistook a customer for an employee, resisted the urge to run away in shame long enough to ask an uninterested employee if she tought they were going to receive the thing I wanted to buy and for her to take ten minutes to tell me she had no idea. I then left the store upon realizing I am still too stupid to make a choice by myself so I should just leave and let someone else decide for me and picked the wrong lane on the way back to the shame-cave so I had to turn right instead of going straight to the highway.
On the way home I was so mad I honked at a flock of bicycles eating up half of the road as usual with the rage of an average-sized toaster. What little self-esteem I had built up during the last year has been thrown away and I'm back at the 'Natural selection leaves me alone as a joke' square.
Oh and it turns out I FORGOT THE PET FOOD SO I HAVE TO GO BACK TOMORROW

Dude iunno if it makes you feel any better or not, but I have a day like this pretty much every week. You are far from alone when it comes to having one of these kinda fuckup days. Sometimes it happens and you gotta be like "welp, today sucked anus" and move on. Like bodaciously I say that like a mantra at the end of the day haha

It does, thanks. I never go out except for school and work and it's frustrating that the one time I try this happens and it kind of validates my impression of being unfit for the real world. But I'm feeling better today.

GOOD NEWS: Turns out I should have more cheddar than my bank account is currently saying I have.
BAD NEWS: It's because there's some random booty charge for $58 in a city I live 500 miles away from.
WORSE NEWS: The credit card line is open, but can't handle anything with debit cards. Oh no, THEY'RE closed...gotta wait until tomorrow...

These guys had better rectify this. Luckily, all of these little microtransactions for lunch should count for something given it has me charging from one city one minute, and another city 8 hours away the next.

i woke up this morning with a rash on my hands that is more than likely poison ivy/oak :D i've had poison ivy on my legs for weeks now, including two patches that actually really needed medical attention and basically made me look like i dunked my leg in acid then poured gasoline on it and tried to burn it off. i really wish i could stop breaking out pls. i normally wouldn't be so bothered except that leading my dog around with swollen hands kind of sucks AND i have a cat show tomorrow that i'd really not like to have plague hands for considering i use my hands a lot at cat shows

sob

I got picked up early from school because my mom needed a babysitter. Normally, I'd be fine with it, but I had just gotten through the hardest part of the school day and was looking forward to the rest of it. Oh well I guess.

I was going to post in the pop flyin' thread about how I went back and bought the things and deposited my checks and bought pet food and nothing went wrong so now I have a shiny new WiiU and NSMBU and MK8, but then my father came in and told me he expects me to move the console to the shitty 90's tv in the basement so I won't be preventing him from """watching TV""". He never actually watches TV, he just leaves it on 24/7 because he can't stand not to have some background noise while he browses Facebook all day long. And never turns it off when he leaves. But keeps reminding me about the importance of unplugging every single appliance in the house when it's not used to save 25ยข a month. I don't think I can even use the WiiU on the basement TV because it only came with an HDMI cable. So I guess I'll just have to wait until he leaves the house to use it or beg every time. Joy.

From what I heard your dad can be shitty, so I doubt it'll work, but maybe you could make an argument that when you play it's also background noise.

My body apparently decided to kill me. Or kill itself. Kill us. Whichever.
Started with me suddenly not being able to partially see the arrow on screen anymore, when I turned my laptop off (because dinner was ready) my eyeballs hurt. A little bit after dinner, seems that everything blew up. I started to feel nauseous, I got a SPLITTING headache, eyeballs hurting again - and much to my dismay a VERY hard hiccup (which isn't helping the nauseous feeling in the slightest).

I hope it's because I'm a little bit dehydrated, considering I didn't drink that much today.

Oh hey I just figured out I could just stream everything to the gamepad when he wants to watch TV (I actually told him about that before buying it but I only remembered now)
Thank you based Nintendo!

If you ever end up using it on an old TV without HDMI, you can use the cable from a Wii console since the cord connects to the consoles the same way.

So if you have a Wii, you're all set. If not the cord is cheap.

That's great, thanks. My father left earlier so I got to play for a while and it was cool.
