Decided not to go on a school trip which is mandatory unless a proper reason is given why you can't go.

I decided not to go because my homework usually comes to a standstill on these trips (which ironically, are trips to the main school facility) and that I feel very uncomfortable around a large amount of people.

I'm sure it'll bite me in the booty later.

Do you have documented anxiety? Just say that it is a strain on your mental health to go and be in an obnoxious crowd for that long.

I talked to my supervising teacher about it, simply said that the internet at the hostel we say in is too bad and there wasn't much space in the school for peace and quiet.

Got it approved so I can just do my homework at my home now.

Also, my anxiety isn't documented but I do have these pills which are supposed to suppress depression and anxiety, I just keep forgetting to take them.

Speaking of pills, my doc has me trying out a new medication to see how well I tolerate it, so I'm only supposed to take half a pill a day.

This pill is tiny and I have nothing to cut it in half with while I'm at school. :shakefist:

Trying to awkwardly saw it in half with my fingernail now.

People who act like I don't know what I'm talking about even when I've been taking classes about the subject we're discussing piss me off.

It's even worse when you tell them about your experience in it and they act like it doesn't actually stand for anything.

Oh yes, because I'm sure your experience working as a mechanic has taught you more about how biology works than my numerous university classes.

Same when people tell me things to me that i already know about cooking/food.
If someone has something beyond rudimentary/college-level knowledge, they can feel free to tell me. Otherwise, kindly buzz off or stop talking.

Similar thing - a while ago, I tried to cook venison with some pretty crazy hot sauce, just to see how the meat would come out. It ended with noxious fumes and a brief evacuation of the house because holy shit I accidentally burnt half a million scoville units into the air, but it all turned out alright. Learned my lesson, now I use milder hot sauces in my cooking and I prepare them more carefully.

Then a family friend visits, heard the story, and tries to talk my ear off for an hour about how I need to learn from the experience.

Buddy, you haven't set foot in this house for months, like fuck do you get to come in here and make that sort of assumption.

Then he talked about how he can't handle hot foods, so I guess I got the last laugh.

Downloaded adblock because I keep getting popups and ads that highlight random text on pages. I have to manually hit the in set ad and I'm still getting random popups on unrelated websites that don't have other ads.

Taking this final is going to be a total waste of time and energy. Ugh.

Sounds like some other software got into your system. Check your browser extensions, plugins, and do a malware scan.

Yeah, that's adware. Remove any programs you don't recognize.
