AWKWARD ZOMBIE

my dog has a bad habit of finding anything that's food or paper and shredding it whenever we leave. i would crate him, but he FREAKS OUT when we leave him in the crate (just when we leave, he sleeps in there etc and is fine otherwise,) and nothing i've tried has helped to calm him - apparently being crated and left was used as punishment for him or something. i would much rather let him have free reign but have no idea how to break the incredibly rewarding bad habit of destroying things if i'm not there, and as we've been removing things he's started seeking out things that can potentially kill him like rolls of sticky paper and sponges and stuff because there's no more other paper he can shred. i can't find any help online because every sits is like "CRATE THEM" but i can't so that's not an option for me. i have a large group of animal people i normally can ask anything but they gave me the same advice despite me saying I DO NOT WANT TO CRATE HIM so i'm very frustrated.

My English teacher gave my class an assignment where we have to figure out why there are so few economic opportunities where we live, and what are some possible solutions to it. It's really hard for me to get motivated for it though, because as far as I can tell, there's a decent amount of economic opportunities here considering the population is low. There are less jobs now than there were 50 years or so ago, but that's because all the resources we used to export got exhausted and the railway got shutdown here. There's not really anything we can do about that, so it's making this assignment really hard to do.

Brother complains about me using computer too much when he wants to play. Today it started 5 minutes into me playing.

The wifi on campus generates a 503 error about half the time I try to load the forum. I wonder if some older member got banned from the same campus?
