And there's about a dozen people on mine actually doing it, and I see no purpose in it at all. I don't see how it helps breast cancer awareness in anyway, and all it does do is make the people who believe the fake statuses think less of the poster.

Yea, it really irritates me. Not just because people are going along with it, but because the people that are going along with it are usually pretty smart, and I wouldn't see them as going along with stupid copy paste chainmail crap.

Reality shows fucking suck.
Punk songs are too short.
We've been really busy at the library lately and more and more people have been calling in sick and missing work. We're about as backed up as we can be short of leaving the books in the bookdrop, and my superiors can't coordinate shifts well enough to get any shit done.
Least The Boondocks is back.

There is an enormous huntsman outside on the window and I really want it to go away but it's a spider and only understands evil so it isn't listening to me.

Internet in the dorms is so weird. Earlier today roughly half the sites I tried to access wouldn't work. Hotmail.com, isup.me, here, etc. The other half worked fine.
Came back from class and all was well, but dang if that wasn't frustrating.

i can't hang out in the living room because my parents are always watching tv and they have the worst taste and i can't sit through half their shows because it actually makes me so angry

Well, I'm assuming your parents own the house, so I guess they should be able to pick. Have you tried telling them you'd rather watch something else?

Today is not a good day. At all. Found out my apartment application was denied because apparently student loans are bad credit when I don't need to make a payment until six months after graduation, which is at the very minimum December. I couldn't find any other open apartments in the El Cajon/San Diego area. If I can't find an apartment I may actually need to give up this new job, which means I'll be stuck in the same place I've been for the past seven years. Again.
I really wish I drank because now would be the perfect time for it. Instead I need to start looking for paperwork and see if I can fight the denied application.

I ran into that myself. Turns out the way those places view credit is "do you owe cheddar" vs "how much of that cheddar have you paid" where, technically speaking, you owe that cheddar even though there won't be any enforcers over to break your legs until AFTER a certain time. The only reason they were willing to overlook that issue for me was because I had to pay my car off a couple of years ago, along with the fact that I have a credit card that I use exclusively for gas.
How picky was the place? Was the average dog there a miniature poodle?

The place itself was great. It's the business that owns the place which is putting up resistance. And I actually have a very similar situation in that I had a car loan and I paid it off.
A good bit of news though. This place did not run the credit check through Experian, they used one of the other two places. Only Experian has my car loan on it, so it shows the best score. 704 out of 850. If I can convince this place to take my Experian report instead of whatever they used, I might have a shot.
