Things that piss you off
Re: Things that piss you off
Was reading a book, dad wanted me to do something, got yelled at for only wanting to sit on my booty and play computer.
I had a dream which was not all a dream

Re: Things that piss you off
This is the second time in a week that someone outside is burning wood and the smell is so strong I thought there was a fire right outside our fucking house.

guess i'll read or something
I just fell asleep and dreamed vividly for all of five minutes. Now I'm more alert than I've been all day. Fuck you, brain, we're going to work tomorrow whether you like it or not.

i imagine people talk behind my back all the time but wow
Came home from work to find my folks out of the house. I called them to see what was up and heard my mother talking. Apparently she thought she hit an "ignore" button or whatever but it answered the phone so I could hear her laughing with some other people about how I'm probably calling just to ask about dinner and that I am just so lost without them.
Thanks for validating my neuroticism, I guess.
I need to get the fuck out of this house.

Everytime I check facebook to see how some of my schoolfriends are doing I see a post by my relatives that makes me almost type something, but it would just open up a huge can of worms so yeah fuck I'm just removing it from my bookmarks bar hopefully forever.

Re: Things that piss you off
Sooo I get that my roommate's girlfriend isn't that terribly fond of me (most likely because I refuse to walk on the same eggshells my roommate is way too willing to walk on for her) but those two really need to get shit figured out.
There was a huge stink over whether or not I'd "be allowed" to go see the new "based on America's favorite action/forsomereasonromance novel!" movie, but the way my roommate described it was "Hey, so, we're gonna go see this movie, but *girlfriend* doesn't want you to go. We can go see another movie, sorry..."
Wat?
That's just a little more than offensive, and while I'm willing to suck up the idea that not everyone's going to like me, I needed to at least get down to the bottom of it. It sounded like a similar situation we were in where she wanted to go to some misc concert (or maybe she didn't (or, wait, now she did (NO I SAID I WASN'T SURE IF I WANTED TO GO! GAWD!))) with my roommate, but that she didn't want me there. Rudeness aside, it's a friggen concert...she can't bar me from a concert anymore than she can bar me from a movie. If I want to go, I will go. If she's annoyed by that, then that's her own problem.
Turned out the issue was that my roommate was worried that I was going to "ask him what he was doing" for the night, and that if he just said "we're going to the movies" I would angrily text him back in an hour "demanding to know why he hadn't picked me up." This is all shit his girlfriend does, so it makes sense for him to have some kind of contingency plan for it, but I don't do that shit. And when I'm told "Hey, we're gonna go do X thing, but you can't come." I get a little more than confused and offended at what the hell I'm supposed to do with that information.
The annoying part is we can't just have whoever is the main subject of the confusion be the one who explains it, because when it's him...it's something his girlfriend did/does. When it's her, my roommate has to be the middle man because she never wants to take responsibility for shit she says. The problem is that it's 50/50 guessing which one is the one causing the confusion, and you have to flip the coin because neither of them owns up to it. I talk to my roommate and he says "Hey, *girlfriend* is *having X problem* with *X situation*" and then when she comes into the picture, she'll say "Nooooo YOU were *having X problem* with *X situation* I said I didn't care!"
Every. Single. Fight.
