Tried Polish hot dogs for dinner, Polish do not know how to make hot dogs.

It was like chewing rubber and I ended up squeezing the meat out of the skin rather than eating the hot dog as usual.

Their candy sucks too so I am definitely not going to eat anything Polish again.

I think you're supposed to remove the skin thing before doing anything with the sausage. At least that's how Polish sausages work here.
They're better as is or on crackers anyway.

Honestly, can't remember but the Polish kept giving my mom treats, which got handed to me, and I just didn't like them at all. I'd need to get my hands on another one to remember what exactly is wrong with it but shortly put, it wasn't close to my tastes at all.
I wouldn't be surprised if they were just giving us the cheaper and worse stuff.

Anyway, good to know about the skin but I think I'll just stick to Icelandic hot dogs from now on.

It is likely I can't show up for school tomorrow, maybe the day after that and so on until I get some spikes under my shoes. Couldn't get to the school bus this morning because I just sliding out of control.

Spikes aren't sold in my town and I doubt I could get my mom to drive me anywhere else so hooray.

Edit: Bought springs instead of spikes but they have a reputation of falling off, at least in my experience, so it'll do but might not be that great.

And then my father went on a rant about how those pesky foreigners should just find another country if they don't want to let us assimilate them completely because how dare they have a different culture
I didn't think he was super open but I wouldn't have thought he was actually intolerant.
I need a better family.

I used to have uni teachers who'd just photocopy the parts of a book we need. usually it was only a little bit, but once it was like a half inch thick booklet, so she asked us to pay a little to cover the cost of copying and binding I guess.

Only teacher to do that here was for my weather study class, she scans a few pages and uploads it so we can work on it, which is pretty great.

I just hope I won't have to resort working in the fish factory again for an income, they have the potential of messing up sleep schedules or destroying free time depending on how business goes.

Those are $50 spent shittily.
