OpenOffice is completely free. But it hasn't been updated in years because the company that acquired it stopped development, so a foundation took the source code and made their own variant, which is much improved and also completely free. You can get it here. It's just an update so it's still perfectly compatible with OpenOffice. You should tell your teacher too.
i mistyped.
She used Microsoft office. like the fucking Deluxe version that costs an arm and a leg. 'll def take that download off you though. Shits useful. Thanks man.

Somehow got a nerve stuck yesterday while doing nothing, and now, due to immense pain, I can't turn my head to the right, nor sleep on my left side - which is the only side I can fall asleep on

Oh. If you don't have to use advanced formatting, you should be fine with LibreOffice (it can import and export Microsoft Office files but some advanced feature don't work/are broken). Otherwise whenever you can, export you files as PDF, that way you're sure it's look the way you intended. LO also allows you to embed the document into the pdf so it can be edited later, but I don't think Microsoft Office takes advantage of this.

You could do it even more radical and get a clean pencil case, and draw mad radical dinosaurs yourself on it
Customization and mad bragging rights 'n stuff

And now I wonder why I haven't done so myself with my Surface, a self-made wallpaper isn't enough
(probably because it gets too hot and stickers and paint would simply crumble off)

Vinyl stickers. I don't think they even have adhesive, they just stick to smooth surfaces like glass.

I'm a person who absolutely hates silence.

Even if I'm just sitting around doing nothing, I like listening to music.
If said music is unavailable, sometimes I hum, or whatever. Something to keep my ears occupied.

Even so, I'll be tolerant with ambient noise. As long as it's not completely silent, I'm good. I'd much prefer to listen to something else, though.

so you can probably visualise my unfathomable hatred for headphones straight up breaking on me like this is the sixth pair in two years

What brand are you using? Some are infamous for their poor quality. Skullcandy especially.

This one time I jerked my head to the right as I sneezed.

Never again...

Truck died yesterday while I was driving it. Everything just completely shut off, the battery was dead. I happened to be driving by my dad's when it happened so I had just enough momentum to roll it into his driveway. Thus began the diagnosis process.

1) Dead battery and alternator. The battery was a given; it was so dead it wouldn't even take power from being jumped by Dad's truck. We figured the truck dying mid-transit meant the alternator was bad as well because we both had some mistaken ideas about what alternators do. We took out the offending parts and went down to the parts store for replacements. A new alternator would have been expensive, but I ended up not needing it because mine was working. They tested it and it passed. Supposedly the battery was near dead to begin with, and when it went the alternator couldn't do shit to keep the truck going so off it went. Whatever, new battery, go home, attach it, ow I can't attach the positive terminal because it's arcing. Why is it arcing.

2) Short circuit. Somewhere in that truck there had to be an exposed wire causing a short. After removing every single fuse and finding that the terminal was still arcing, I figured it had to be somewhere on the main circuit. I got under the truck and, sure enough, saw that the starter wire was pinched between the starter and some edge, maybe the oil pan. When I got a better view, I saw the wire was past halfway severed and the copper wiring was wrapped around the oil pan edge. Eureka. So now I have to remove the starter. Before I can do that, I have to remove the flywheel cover. Before I can do that, I have to detach the driveshaft. All of this for one fucking wire. I was completely covered in grease after all of this.

The best part? I replaced the starter myself (with my dad of course) over a year ago so it was probably our fault the wire ended up like that.

i took hoxton to get the mail at our house while waiting for kyle and his friend to show up in their van (currently we live off of a toll road and the van doesn't have a toll tag so they had to pay cash,) and was harassed by some shitlords outside their house on the way to the boxes. they kept calling at me to take off hoxton's "muzzle" (even after i told them it wasn't a muzzle which i'm used to doing,) and let him fight their dog, and then shit like "he'll get his booty kicked he don't have no balls to make him mean." and the dog in question was very friendly but kept trying to mount hoxton and hoxton is pretty submissive so it was stressing him out and the people wouldn't get their fucking dog so i had to actually kick it off of hoxton and they just sat there and fucking laughed. ugh.

for the love of god people neuter your animals and don't let them fuck with other peoples' pets because it's really rude and annoying. this isn't the first time i've been harassed by unleashed dogs at this place and i'm not even actually moved in there yet. at least this dog was friendly - the last one i had the pleasure of chasing off was actually going to attack us. i'm buying a fucking taser and i don't care if the owner is standing right there i will shoot their dog with it if it comes after us.
