England does. NFL is actually trying to get a stadium over there.

I think, *think* that most countries have sports teams in school, but nowhere near the sanctified version the US and possibly Britain has. In Sweden its treated more like an after school activity.

That's the general impression I get with sports in schools in other countries, just an extra-curricular activity for the students.

When I was in high school everyone was forced to go to pep rallies to worship the football team (and the other teams to a lesser extent) and it was the worst thing ever.

High school seem to be a hellish quagmire in general unless you happen to be part of the popular groups

There's a metaphor for society if Ive ever heard one. Even as an adult, if I hear someone say they ENJOYED high school, I actually get angry at them. Hey, good for you, your formative years werent a minefield of humilation and misery.

No. It probably just means that you A) go to an American school where curriculum is hella easy, B) do what you're asked to do, and C) don't have any psychological disorders that are relevant to your actions and interactions at school.

I made it to state level in Academic Team Science and the school didn't say anything but every single game the football team played they announced it and encouraged us to go to it.
Also I keep dying in my game because everyone is an asshole. Oh, you grabbed the only shotgun we'll have until we theoretically get one in the supply drop after wave 4? Let me grab the only twelve-gauge shells we'll get until that point leaving you with two ammo.

There are a lot of people who look at a symptom list on the internet and say "hey, I'm quirky, and sometimes I'm totally awkward. I MUST HAVE THIS MENTAL DISORDER TO EXPLAIN IT AND MAKE ME TOTES UNIQUE XD"




And how severe is it? Like, is it crippling your ability to have positive social connections? Does it adversely affect your schoolwork?
