Things that piss you off
Re: Things that piss you off
Fail climbed in my game with a 60% chance of success four times and had to stay outside and got infected by a zombie. This game is also known as "You can have the best strategy but if the RNG hates you you're completely screwed.
I had a dream which was not all a dream

It's most likely a bug. Another thing Google should have done before rolling out these changes is extensively test the thing on a large amount of browsers and OSes. But then again, this is Google; they probably couldn't care less about making sure a Google+ integrated feature being released as a broken mess.Valbrandur wrote:Youtube talks
What I don't get is why does the video open again in a new tap plus the original tab when I try to find a comment.
I click on the "replied to" note above a comment and it just opens another tab of the same video so I can see the comment.
Just why the hell do they need to open another tab to process that when it worked properly before?
Burn 'em to shreds, tear 'em to ashes.

Not only problems with the comments, it doesn't mark anymore what videos you already watched. That's kinda horrible.BurntToShreds wrote:It's most likely a bug. Or it does for some but not all? It shows for older ones but not the ones I watched yesterday.

Why the hell do athletes get to do whatever they want, no matter how horrible?
Re: Things that piss you off
Because they got cheddar out their asses assuming you mean professional athletes.

It's because sports are an altar to the vast majority of people. High schools value their sports teams because they bring in revenue, bring attention to the school and town, and if they actually get a really good player who goes on to be a professional they get the benefits of saying they had him when he was young.
When something threatens that altar people find ways to cling to it, not unlike a religion in my opinion. The players gain the protection of everyone involved with the system when it comes to someone who may pose a threat to it. Like in the Steubenville rape case where the police actually tried to do anything they could to ignore it since the accused were two star football players in a relatively little town.
However. Many of the players in high school are not good enough to be college players and even fewer are good enough to be pros. They lose their protection when they graduate and if they don't figure that out then they learn they are no longer immune.

I wonder just what level of self delusion is required to rationalize that kind of behavior. I mean, religion is sort of understandable, we're talking matters of divinity there, but a GAME?! It boggles the mind. I read about that case, and let me tell you, that entire fucking town should have been hauled to jail.Madican wrote:It's because sports are an altar to the vast majority of people.
