How is someone not having kids solving the problem of kids being little shits at that point in time?Dire wrote:People who don't have kids sure get melodramatic about kids.
Okay, we get it, you don't like 'em. So don't have 'em. Problem solved.

They aren't your kids to solve.
If a kid is acting up, you don't have to stick around for it.

Argument invalid. You get paid to not have an attitude.
I work in retail too, shit head customers and their shit head kids shop where I work too. But they aren't all shit heads and furthermore I'm a professional. I do not take a personal affront to people and their children being shit heads in my vicinity. Nor does it taint my opinion of all customers ever.

Things are different in America from Australia, just so you know. We don't get paid to not have attitudes, we get paid to roll Sisyphus's boulder up the hill for $8 an hour and all the customer abuse we can eat.
That's completely unrelated to my initial objection anyway. You said that not having kids solves the problem of kids being little shits. That's not even logic unless those are your kids exploiting a temporal loophole in the space-time continuum to come back and be little shits before they're even born.

My point is that being upset at other people's kids is like being upset at other people's marriages. It's no one else's business if someone's kid is being a brat until they start breaking property or committing assault.
I also think this negative attitude towards kids is unnecessary. We have an unwritten rule not to rail on neck beards. I think this ought to apply to kids as well.

I hate neckbeards! I think they should all be shaved off to the point where they're regular beards!

We do? (this isn't intended to have any attitude behind it. It's a legitimate question)Dire wrote:We have an unwritten rule not to rail on neck beards.

Yeah, the text screen caps was constantly being filled with 'lol neck beards' and 'lol fedora enthusiasts' and people posting dating profiles of men with unattractive personalities.

Auuugh, I'm so quick at turning off my alarm now that I do it in my sleep. My desk with my alarm clock isn't even next to my bed, so I guess I just roll out of my bed, and do a one step to shut it off. Blahh, i really wanted to get up early.

Hey, Ive never been quite certain about what constitutes a neckbeard. Is it soemone who has beard GROWING on their neck, or a scraggly beard thats obscuring the neck?Barabba wrote:I hate neckbeards! I think they should all be shaved off to the point where they're regular beards!
