I hate driving downtown. The streets are barely wide enough for two cars and there are always parked cars on both sides and posts in the middle and on the sides and I know I'm spectacularly bad at guessing distances so I freak out because I'm certain I'm going to hit something and there are stupid zigzagging bikes and kids on scooters or skateboards and easy to squish unpredictable children and dogs and 30 km-long trains and buses and people who are as bad at driving as I am and work sites everywhere and stops signs or red lights hidden behind trees and nonstandard intersections that can't not create traffic jams and space and time bend just so I have that fucking sun in my eyes no matter what direction I'm facing or what time of the day it is aughhh

Piece of shit wi-fi.

Looks like the fishing trip I've been looking forward to is going to be cancelled on account of hurricane.

I am covered in mosquito bites.

Every mosquito in the entire city has a laser target on me.

I have upwards of 30 bites on my arms alone, and that is not counting the ones from a week ago that have finally healed enough to not itch, but are still visible as red murder sites.

Never have I hated mosquitoes more than I do today.

I hate algebraic graphing. It just doesn't make sense to me when a positive number means moving on the negative x-axis except in certain situations when it's about moving on the positive y-axis.

Also choosing the graphs out of the selection. Seems like each version of "y=x" has its own shape. So coupled with figuring out the numbers it's a pain in the booty.

Bluh. I didn't rinse all the soap off of this plate, apparently, so now my avocado tastes all gross and soapy.

It's been over 24 hours since I ate anything with gluten in it and while I feel pretty good about my stomach problems seeming to be gone (at least for now), I am so freaking hungry. Even though my mom tried to get gluten-free stuff when she went shopping, there wasn't much available today for any sort of meal. All of my favorite canned stuff has gluten in it, along with the noodles. I wound up having a bowl of Chex cereal for lunch because the pantry is completely stocked with wheat products.
Maybe I'm just not in the mindset to eat gluten-free...my idea of 'lunch' has been a sandwich for years. It's going to be hard to stop eating sandwiches. I did try to make some deviled eggs because I found some boiled eggs in the fridge, but they weren't actually cooked all the way and the yolks were bright yellow still and kind of gross.

I considered trying to do some experimenting with the gluten-free flour, but it's so expensive that I don't want to waste any of it. One pound of flour costs over four dollars!

my dream sewing machine is up on ebay and i probably won't be able to get the cheddar together for it because it's ending in 6 days and even if i do i'll probably get out bid

I've had to say no to so many things today because I have either had zero time, or I was just too burned out. Some of them were pretty important too, like fundraising stuff for the band's homecoming variety show, but everything got in the way.

Usually when things bunch up like that, I just say fuck it and watch TV in my underwear all day and let it all fall apart. You gotta teach people to not depend on you ever, and the best way to do that is to fold like a crappy lawn chair at the sligfhtest hint of stress
