AWKWARD ZOMBIE

This is the first night I go to sleep filled with disgust.

It's not a pleasant feeling and despite posting this, I don't think I can say why except to a select few.

Wanted to take a breather today from drawing, and play some games. Wanted to start with LoL, get the daily bonus and then play some Ranked games.

Normal game, laggy as fuck, everyone in my match, including me, keeps disconnecting. Later on it stabilized, cool. Get out of the game, server message "We have currently disabled Ranked to investigate connectivity issues".

So much for playing stuff.

Why can't my college classes just be normal and assign us essays? Every single class boils down to just a shitload of online quizzes and tests strewn seemingly at random across the school's unnavigable website. I have no idea what the fuck I'm supposed to have done by now.

so I sit and sketch aimlessly

The past couple of days have been stressful, mainly yesterday.

My turn signal switch died on the way to school yesterday so I had to hobble it in, and no one fucking knows what hand signals mean anymore so they got rustled that I was turning because I didn't signal, and I just fucking hate these goddamn assholes that drive in my area. Got to class late because 4 buses passed me because they couldn't be bothered to stop for 10 seconds even though they're supposed to because they were too busy scratching their assholes to stay on time with their route and they gotta make up the time somehow.

Found out the test that supposedly was going to get delayed because we're 2 lectures behind is happening anyways and is just going to be over 5 lectures, which is fine but goddamn, I'm flying out this weekend and the last thing I need is to stress over a goddamn test tomorrow morning.

Then, had to collect leaves in the humid air outside for a lab that I've already done before and that the TA says is useless anyways, only for us to find out that the prof accidentally made us go out "too early" and we might not get good results. It also started raining and thundering on the way back to campus, which is always lovely.

I then needed to get back to my car and move it because my last class gets out at 9, and the buses stop running, and I can't park closer to campus in the morning because there's no spaces. I get on the bus, and they refuse to let me off at the stop I need because they were told last week to stop dropping people off there, yet the stop is still listed online. Instead, I'd have to be dropped off at the next stop down the street. Alright, fine, that's a 5 minute walk.

Except there's a train stopped on the tracks that keeps up from crossing over to the next bus stop, so we have to turn around, circumnavigate traffic, and get to the stop 10 minutes later. I walk to my car, drive through the fucked up traffic of people trying to get around the train blocking traffic yet again with no signals and people getting rustled off about me using hand signals, and arrive at class late. After that things were fine until I got out of lab, tired and hungry, and had to drive in the dark with no signals and no real way for people to see my hands.

And I have to drive like this again tomorrow all day and hope I don't get killed in the process of going to take my test, all while packing up for a 6 am flight on Friday morning to Chicago.

Ugggggggggggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, shoot me.

Went to a job fair at the local college today that advertised "50 employers will be present."

Except there was more like seven actual employers. The rest were trade schools or other colleges, not to mention the military is always there.

Oh, and two of the employers were fucking Venture Marketing (Cutco) and WakeUpNow, basically the two biggest scam companies that love to prey on college kids because they don't know any better. When I tried to bring this up with the college staff I was rebuffed and told that every company here had a background check done on them. Sorry, but that's bullshit when the person manning the WakeUpNow booth is handing out poor quality flyers and advertising how everyone meets at her house. That is the exact opposite of a legitimate business venture.

My everything hurts and I am completely tired out. I just want to lie down and sleep all day, it feels like I hit the pique of a bad flu.

To be fair, that is a pretty realistic introduction to todays job market. Mostly scams preying on the ignorant and desperate, the actual employers just could not give less of a fuck because at this point, we're all basically cattle and they can pick and choose and treat us however they want.
