I hate my job

I was so ready to tackle this semester and pay attention in my classes and really focus so that I don't get frustrated with Engineering.

And then tonight happened. I freaking KNOW what I have to do for this assignment, every step, and I still can't do it. I've checked my work at least six times and can't find any mistakes.

I freaking hate Mechanical Engineering sometimes. I hate that the professors throw this bull crap at us after giving very little actual help regarding the problems. I hate that classroom environments are set up in such a way as to discourage group cooperation and discussion. I hate that feedback is extremely unhelpful and that problems assigned don't even have EXAMPLES IN THE BOOK ARE YOU KIDDING ME

I especially hate that I don't have any options but continue putting up with this nonsense.

My roommate is an engineering major, and he's been cooped up in his room since 8. It's almost midnight. It's one of the reasons I'm thankful I'm just a vanilla biology major. The material is mostly straight forward, and the professors don't just give you fuck all when you ask for help.

I must've slept wrong somehow because my throat feels like someone cut me from the left side of my jaw to the right side of my shoulder. On top of it the dream I had was very exhausting too so now I'm super tired.

M$ did a right royal botch job of their system updates this month; my computer was so screwed up I had to do a system restore in safe mode.

All I want to do when I turn my computer on is maybe sit down and do some drawing, or maybe surf the web a little - I really don't want to spend an hour or so undoing system damage caused by some underpaid/overworked code monkeys at M$'s various update coding sweatshops.

I'm not the only person who's had problems like this either; Gonna have to start checking the 'net before I run updates in the future because things like this just put me off even turning my computer on some days.

^ i've not had any real problems so far except that my internet connection NEVER connects the first time when i boot up :| ever since the update i have to restart at least once before i can get online

it sucks

not enough to want to restore my system coz i could just not shut my computer down at night but its still annoying

I turned off automatic system updates because they tend to fuck the computer and there is no actual benefit to updating.

Looks like my subway application paid off in the form of a phone call this morning, which consisted of me having to yell into the phone the fact that I don't have food experience and am currently working for the national guard due to interference. Eventually the guy said "I'll just call you back..."

5 days of sickness so far, will probably be 6 at least.

If I'm lucky, it'll be 7 days or more.

Hooray me.

So because I don't open well (I bodaciously was told my work performance declined when I was doing it regularly) because of sleep problems I got compared to my dad and how he would come home get five hours of sleep and go to work the next day without complaint and got called spoiled.

Nevermind the fact I usually bend over backwards, am working nine days in a row and will cover people on days off many times or switch shifts all the time for others. Thanks that feels fantastic mom.

Frick now I feel like a terrible person because of it. I bodaciously don't feel safe driving half an hour at five am to work and am virtually useless my entire shift. Just because she's a morning person she is convinced I could be too if I just 'tried harder' what part of 'I have sleep problems' does she not seem to comprehend?

I drank too much last night. Ew.

Neighbors fire alarm keeps going off every five goddamn minutes. What the fuck are they doing up there? Unplug the fucking thing if you want to smoke indoors that badly

Feeling restless, and I can't focus.
