Well, one thing you can consider is if a professional place does something like that, and it becomes a hazard, they'd be the ones liable.

I have no idea how to have fun at things like this and I'm pretty sure I'd just hang around in a corner or something.
The best way to have fun at school dances is to, well, dance. Even if you don't like to. Even if you're not good at it. Just get together with a bunch of friends and dance terribly, you'll have a great time.

the back corner of my laptop lost a screw, so I have to hold the side of the casing to even open the thing.

It's been a week since I turned in my job application and they haven't called back.

If you're not gonna' hire me, then at least call and tell me "No thanks." Now I have to go over there and talk to people and figure out what's going on.

It really feels like that clementine embodies your life Loth. Something nice happens, it opens in one go without any problems, and then you can't enjoy it because something unforseen bad happens.

Oh god no.

So anyway, I wanted to and drop my resume off at some pharmacies today, but there's no paper in the printer, and my dad says he's going to nap the rest of the day when I ask him what time we're heading out.

My life is full of symbolism apparently.

Walking across the porch and hearing about how Sandy Hook never happened and was just an Obama conspiracy.

There was also an incident a couple weeks ago where the daughter of the house threatened to "beat my face in" and "knock me out" but I was able to be the adult and got her together with her mother to get the misunderstanding sorted out. (I would've rather got it straightened out with the daughter but when her response to me asking if she'd like me to explain is "I don't care about what you have to say", then I will just ignore her and go to the parental figure. You'd think at 20-years-old she'd be able to handle herself, but I guess not.) Even though the daughter's response was to not listen and be pouty, the mother was at least reasonable so I felt accomplished. Things seem fine now, even though it seems one of the younger sons now has an issue with me? I go into the main house to shower/use the bathroom and sometimes make food for myself, I don't even know what I'm doing to garner dislike.

On the plus side I am steadily saving up so, here's to hopefully moving out on my own by the end of the year.
