When people rip on college sports players

Give them a fucking break, they play hard for their school, and if they lose they have to deal with drunk shitlords who have the brass balls to badmouth them over a fucking game. I'm a stickler for loyalty, through thick and thin, and I can't fucking stand it when this happens

But at the same time, no one is perfect. It's OK to have a laugh(or groan if it's your team) when a star player makes mistakes and doesn't live up to his reputation from time to time. You can do that and still support your team. Heck, my dad and I like several of the same sports teams, a lot of which are genuinely terrible, and we acknowledge that while still supporting them and cheering them on at the games we go to.

I do agree, though, that some people take it way too far when it comes to criticism.

I keep watching those long montages people make of DPS gaming fucking up in Metal Gear games and I just get super angry every time. I'm watching the MGS1 montage now and he's so bad. He keeps firing rockets into walls and getting offended they blow up and hurt him. And he still has no idea how to use the codec, in the most codec-heavy of the games.
Also he keeps makes racial jokes about Mei Ling's accent and that's upsetting for different reasons.

It's the game that tells you exactly what to do and how to do it and he doesn't know what to do.

I'm tring not to be an asshole here, but I'm getting tired of being left to jerk my thumbs off playing Halo while simultaneously being told I'm crazy to think we never do things as a group.

This would belong more in a Things that Mildly Bother You thread, but lately I've been getting weird sensations that sort of feel like I'm feeling nervous or getting butterflies, except for no reason; I don't feel nervous emotionally. Sometimes I'll even get a tiny pang of nausea with it too. Could be caffeine interacting with my meds, I dunno.

Hit by depression again. In the future, I'm probably going to check out if I can't drug myself out on anti depressants or something.

I'm having a really hard time with the kind of headphones that actually goes over your ears with the band on top of your head. It gives me both a headache and an earache from the pressure to both areas. Laaaaaameness
