Really not looking forward to having to finally put the nail in this ROTC thing. This program really is more like a fraternity than you'd think. You try telling them you don't want to deal with their shenanigans anymore and all you hear is endless streams of "You're giving up a good thing!" "You're wasting an opportunity!" and "You won't be successful without us!" No matter how many times I try and give them a reason why I don't want to do it anymore, they get rustled and call it an excuse. (That's actually one of the reasons I'm tired of it...there is no cause and effect, just excuses you come up with that they turn into reasons you're a horrible human being.)

It's messed up because I'm actually doing the nice thing by telling them at all. In reality, I could just stop showing up, ignore their 5:30 phone calls, and leave it to them you figure it out after a month of me completely cutting off communication.

The fact that even though I've taken 4 Co-Codamols today my right hip is still in agony and is making it hard to get shit done, this is not good when I have a toddler and 2 cats I care for as well as keep my house clean, thankfully my daughter is now in bed but I'm annoyed I can't clean the daisies house

Also my FFXIV server refuses to let me on.

My section leader got mad at us for not having the new music we needed yesterday because "it was posted online".

my mom got mad at me for still being awake after midnight and for being on my dad's computer even though i'm usually on my laptop this late anyway. i'm almost 22.

I love it when people freak out over simple misunderstandings. I'm guessing she got just as rustled when she found out it wasn't even posted?

Something they really need to get across to anyone hoping to lead anyone is that it never pays to get angry...ever.

After 10 hours of constant calls, e-mailing, and stalking classes, a professor is finally overriding the closed class to get me in, even though I was forced to miss the first day.

I'm really relieved, but insanely rustled that I called the registration office over 60 times today and their lines were too full to get through.

This means that there were a shitload of people having issues with registration, and it's never been THIS hard to get a call in.

What the fuck did you screw up, college?

EDIT: Also, dad just accused me of using all of the bandwidth on working on college stuff because the cable TV is freezing up.

I want to see how many heads explode from that statement.
