Had a dream where the old bully from my school appeared, and trough events I don't remember anymore I wanted to punch him with my left hand. Turns out, I wasn't it only doing it during the dream, but I actually swung my arm. I woke up when it was in full motion - just enough for me to see how I was punching the metal bed with full force.

Needless to say my left hand hurts like a bitch.

To be honest, unless the textbook is shit, I like having them as insurance, because I've had teachers who say "never buy the book, you're an idiot for doing so" and then teach the class incredibly poorly (One such class petitioned the college because only 30% passed. We all got bumped up a letter grade).

I tend to keep all of my biology textbooks, especially the ones that not only cover the "basics" but also are half devoted to the practical uses of the theories and concepts and what's "current" (usually within about the last 10 years, since it take forever to get into textbooks).

The one thing I really disliked about Chemistry classes is the lack of relevance to history in the field. Granted it's not exactly necessary, but you get more goddamn history out of a math class than you do finding out how chemical processes were worked out or how pure elements were first seperated/extracted for study, and a lot of that is stuff that keeps me interested.

Actually, more to the point, why the hell did I get a homework project for a course I've not even STARTED yet? They might have their reasons but it's really bloody annoying. I'm meant to use summer for winding down, not for your vague-as-hell project that should logically take me a month of it... And now I'll be doing it in a week. ><

Augh I'm so mad at my big brother right now. He said we'd be going to San Japan today too, and that I'd have to explain to our Mom later why he bought the tickets for today, but he didn't. He just lied like Mom always did to me as a kid, and said that we would be going but we aren't and it's not fair. I kept thinking all yesterday "Well, I can't decide on what to get so I'll just get it tomorrow" and I kept telling him that "there's always tomorrow" to do things, or look at stuff, and I didn't even get a picture with Katie or get a cute stuffed animal, and it's not fair. I'm glad I got my Entei shirt and that I got to go but why the hell did he have to lie to me like I'm a little kid again? I feel like throwing things at a wall and I feel so stupid too for feeling this way. Most of what I wanted to do was on Saturday too. I dont' think I can even tell him all this because he'll just talk down on me like he always does and say "I took you to the convention, did I not? I payed for all of that didn't I? Would you rather I didn't take you at all?". And he'd deny telling me that we'd go there tomorrow too, and I'm confused now as to if he said he would or not. Dammit this doesn't feel fair. I don't even have any cheddar to go, because he made me cough up all the cheddar I had left and give it back to Dad. Waking up rustled off in the morning isn't fun.

Edit: Also he bought a knife at the con. I don't know if I'd consider him a loose cannon or anything, but it scares me a little. He might use it on me if I'm being really bad.

its because there's a blister on my hand and every time I try to twist the cap it gets worse, and I can't find a better angle to twist it

Edit: I cut a hole in the lid with a knife thinking maybe it would relieve some pressure or something (lol idk), it didn't work, now I am drinking out of the hole I cut. This is how I live now.
