until then we must suffer

More than we have.
Also, it's the landlord's responsibility, so he'll get it fixed, but it will take him who-the-fuck-knows-how-long to figure out what he wants done. Right now the compressor is shot and needs to be replaced, but it's an old-as-balls unit and the whole thing needs to be replaced, otherwise something else is going to start breaking every few weeks. So basically we have to wait for him to make up his mind.

Sabotage his AC. That'll light a fire under his booty.

In the meantime, may I suggest investing in a lot of electric fans?

We've got fans out the booty and they're good for an artificial breeze, but they don't really help much until the sun goes down and the air outside starts cooling off.
It is supposed to rain tonight, hopefully that will cool the air a little more.

Maybe wet a towel or t-shirt and put that on, when the fan blows on the wet article it should cool down a lot. However that wont help the humidity in the air. It's so hard to breathe in that kinda weather.
i might be able to sleep tonight

Yeah Florida is pretty consistently 120% humidity all the time.
Luckily the sun is going down and it's cooling off a little bit.

I'm so glad we decided to live here and not Florida. I'll take dry heat and bush fires any day. Tropical storms and humidity can get stuffed.

I prefer where I am. It rarely goes above 25C, even in the summer

If I'm there, at your store, asking for employment, the least you could do is give me a solid sheet of paper. Ignore it all you want afterward, but jesus christ let me at least think there's a chance I could work there.
Also, managers, stop fucking telling me you'll be there to see me and then not show up.
Fucking this. PetSmart was the worst about it. They had a list of available jobs and shit in the store, on a bulletin board, with flyers for ads and events underneath. And yet they only take online applications.

You could always check the website for an online ap, then go to the store and tell them you've filled one out.

Sure they do. After the program has automatically sorted all the applications based on whatever criteria it was given, which means that while with a paper application the manager might figure the rest makes up for a particular deficiency the program will ensure they never see it to make that decision.
