It pisses me off that, now more than ever, feminists use their ideology less like a hope for a brighter future and more like a weapon against people they don't like. Because these radical groups keep springing up everywhere, the more rational half is drowned out and hidden under the irrational partition's tidal waves of bullshit.

I mean, let's face it: feminism is no longer synonymous with human rights or gender equality, it's a platform for fascist bullies to assert female supremacy in the most assbackwards way, including playing up the whole victim thing. Hitler did not nearly overrun the Russian front by whining and screaming (mostly), he did it by using his people to get shit done.

Feminists- at least these members anyhow, seem content to stand around fucking with men for no practical reason, because god forbid working on EQUALITY on the men's side means anything short of getting of bed without giving his spouse a Porsche is a crime. These are exactly the kind of people who can make PETA look benign, because they consider any married man with kids to be a rapist. Why? Fuck if I know! And I'm glad I don't know, because the logic of a radical feminist printed out in calm, legible text would probably make my head explode purely from paradox.

And no, I'm not a misogynist, I don't have a superiority/inferiority complex, I don't believe one gender SHOULD be in charge over the other. If it was at all possible, I'd spend a day with one of these women, trying to calm the inevitable rage. I probably couldn't since I'm a guy, but I could try.

Can't say I agree with that sentiment with 100%, but close to it: Equality doesn't justify you assaulting someone (male, female, or in between) because they're unpleasant. HOWEVER, as soon as anyone (man, woman, or in between) feels like laying their hands on me... well, that's just gloves off.

That is one part of gender equality I'm for and feminists are against: they want to be treated "equally," but their vicitmized mindsets has them blindly embrace the boys-can't-hit-girls stigma, which (let's face it) has evolved into "men can't hit women, but women can hit men." You want equality? Don't be surprised if that slap across my cheek causes physical retaliation. If nothing else, the belief that they no longer hold that perk over our heads might dissuade them from slapping us some percentage of the time.

Do you realize how much of a booty you sound like right now? You are perpetuating the stereotype that feminists have 'convinced' themselves to be angry at patriarchy. We don't have to have a 'victimized mindset' to notice how we're treated differently from men.

Your argument about 'if women want EQUALITY then I should be allowed to hit them back' is weaker than watered-down milk and is often used to derail arguments about feminism. Violence of any shape or form, male on female and female on male, is NOT okay. The only reason you might see few women being arrested for violence or abuse against men is because society doesn't take women seriously. We're viewed as weak, and less cases of woman-on-man domestic violence are reported because men are ashamed that they're being abused by a woman. Because we're women. Hell, being compared to a woman is insulting to a lot of men.

The term 'equality' has gotten thrown around so much that it's almost completely lost its meaning. I don't want to be equal with a group of people that has repeatedly oppressed me and talked down to me. Why should I want to have the same powers of oppression over others? I want to see men lose the privilege of oppressing, ignoring, and controlling women.

Tried out SotC to make sure it works and it does, but for some reason I can't select different things on the pause and options screens

The d-pad works fine in the game itself so I don't know what's going on

Edit: Figured out that it seems that the d-pad's broken since the only button that works is the right one and that's only sometimes. It'll also freak out and keep scrolling to the right
The reason it seems to work when I control the character is because I can cycle through weapons with the right button, but none of the others work.
I don't have any other PS2 controllers so this is a pain in the booty
