A few days ago I ordered some DVDs online, and I just received the shipping confirmation. It was shipped to my mother's address even though I told Paypal to use my father's. Which means my mother will have to acknowledge my existence and possibly interact with me in some way. ABORT ABORT ABORT

I love it when Windows forces me to update my shit while I'm in the middle of a game with no warning so I can't save, then spends an hour "configuring" and updating a bunch of stupid and most likely unnecessary bullshit, and then upon restart tries to open Internet Explorer without prompt, which freezes the computer because it's fucking Internet Explorer so I have to force it to restart.

Shit. I have no idea when my placement tests are for college. I don't even know if the sign up process worked.

To make matters worse, the college website won't work on my phone.

In all fairness, I have only seen one girl react that bad to having their period, and it was someone who acts insane the other 24 days out of the month anyway. Most of my female friends have the same opinion on their time of the month as whoever said that to you. We just don't pay mind to it.

In fact, the worse reactions I have witnessed have been on the internet where it's compared to being bitten in half, having a grenade go off in your pelvis, etc.

PS Also, I'm not saying that my 5 or 6 female friends/aquantences equate to 99% of the female population.

Hello Reyo and Stranger I happen to be on the first day of my period right now and I sincerely wish I could shove my uterus into both of your bodies because I am currently in some serious pain.

The amount of bleeding and cramping differs from person to person. Don't talk like you know what every single person with a uterus goes through when their time of the month comes.

I know you said that, but your little comment about the only person you know reacting like that being 'insane most of the time' was a bit upsetting.

When I was in high school there were a few days when I got cramps so bad that I was sent home early. They were utterly debilitating. I hope I'll never feel that sick again, but it's probably inevitable.

Also, if it is that bad then they should probably see a doctor. I knew one girl who it was absolutely debilitating for. She'd bodaciously be curled up in a ball in tears from the pain. Pain killers weren't working.

The doc put her onto the pill to regulate her period and after that it became much more mild and predictable.

It meant that the only difference in her behavior was that on days where she was on her period, she would blame anything bad that she does on her period. The rest of the month she would do the same shit, but blame it on something else, like how her parents raised her, or politics.

I'm not saying that it doesn't suck, I'm saying that what I hear on the internet is leagues worse than what I see in real life.

I would go on birth control in a heartbeat to regulate my period. There's only one problem, and that's my control freak parents who think it's unnecessary because I don't have a boyfriend and I should just 'deal with it'.

Being a legal adult doesn't mean shit to them, and I don't have the cheddar for either a doctor's visit or the medicine itself because I have no job.

My only respite is a hot water bottle across my abdomen (which often doesn't really help that much).
