I'm trying the thing my parents told me worked on me whenever I was in a "This is for your own good!" situation where they told me something enough times it eventually seeped in...somehow. Something will have to change eventually where it'll click.

EDIT: Also, Natch, if the bit about disability is true, then perhaps a small amount of it can go food...even if it's snack foods. A box of pop tarts is, like, $5.

Nah they're not trying to teach me any lesson. They're just like that. And I try to keep cheddar for food but that doesn't always work out. Beside any food I buy doesn't last more than one or two days.

Well that's the thing with food, it's not supposed to (depending on the amount you buy at a time). You buy it and then eat it. The key is buying enough of it at a time where you can comfortably go a while before having to get more of it. If your family keeps eating it before you can, hide it. That's what my roomate does (or at least he did until I told him that he can just write his name on it instead of hoarding it under his bed).

What I'm saying is keeping a reserve of emergency snack rations available during stints where you're not made lunch isn't a terrible idea.

If you do get any of these things, make sure to drink a lot of water, since they're all either high salt content or dried items. It'll help you feel better and make the dried things (granola and dried fruit in particular) fill you up more because they'll soak some of the water up.

Applied for a seasonal job almost two weeks ago. I was told by my grandma, who works at the place I applied for, that they haven't received very many applications. Called them back today and found out they've already started work.

You know what's nice to hear? The incident where kids come to our house, to our yard, rip up flowers and toss it at our dogs to harass them, our dogs which are kind and would do no harm unless pushed over the edge.

I swear if I ever catch kids doing this shit, I will fucking shout them away.
