i'm feeling really down and i'm getting stressed about this social worker person visiting soon

i'm still mad that my mom thinks it's completely her business to tell people about my old relationship even though she knows jack shit about it. she doesn't even take it seriously. she thinks my whole relationship was just some weird crush and wasn't real at all. it's so frustrating. she just thinks that because i have autism. she thinks i can't feel things the same way as other people so she isn't taking how i'm depressed and how i'm having a really hard time seriously because she thinks i'm not feeling it like a regular person would. she basically thinks what i'm feeling is on par with a 5 year old not getting their own way.

i really hate this. it makes it worse because i'm alone now and i don't have anyone to help me deal with how my mom treats me any more and i don't have anyone promising me that i don't ever have to deal with my parents any more and that i don't ever have to see them again if i don't want to. i don't have any support at all any more. i was always scared of this happening to be honest. that if my ex-boyfriend ever left me i would have to deal with my parents by myself again. i have to deal with everything by myself again.

Lunch was mostly good today, except when a little two or three year old girl at the booth directly behind my family's started screaming her bloody lungs out and her mom did FREAKING NOTHING.

Seriously, can you not take her to the bathroom or outside or something? Don't just sit there eating your pizza like nothing's happening.

Mom's working with some creep who just started. She says he's been married four times, and after what she told me, it's easy to see why. He randomly starts massaging ladies' shoulders, asked for a bite of my mother's food (what the fuck), and said to her, "tell me if your husband dies, cuz you really know how to cook."

She had no response for that. I suggested a fist to the face if he says something like that again.

I'm surprised your Dad let it get that far......

this is how murder mysteries start

Stepdad, and it's not like he was there at the time.

But yeah I told her if he doesn't knock it off she needs to say something. She just thinks he's a weird guy but that shit can escalate.

That sounds like sexual harassment. If I were her, I would inform my supervisor about this guy.

I like how when I told my parents that sometimes I only eat once a day they didn't care at all. I got dizzy the other day because I was really hungry and they actually got really mad that I asked them if they would buy me anything to eat. They complained about it sarcastily for ages after and they got pretty passive-aggressive at one point too.

Before you're 18 years old, that's extremely illegal.

How old are you?

Everybody currently working nights at my Wendy's has had the job for less than a month, so we almost always get out of there an hour or two after we're supposed to. We're also understaffed, especially for closing, and I am one of two people who can close every night, so guess what I get to do for the rest of forever until i find a better job?

I'm 21.

I just found out they didn't buy me anything to eat this week apart from cereal I'm not actually allowed to eat because of my jaw. Oh wow. Looks like I'm only eating dinner for a while.

Well I thought I had something...

Either way, seriously, financial independence is biggest killer I've seen after people turn 18. Any time someone has an issue with their parents, a lack of financial independence is almost always at the center of it. That should probably be your main goal at this point.

She gets cheddar from disability, except she spends it on games and clothes.

We've tried the route you're taking Reyo, many times in fact, and it just doesn't work on her.

I'm trying the thing my parents told me worked on me whenever I was in a "This is for your own good!" situation where they told me something enough times it eventually seeped in...somehow. Something will have to change eventually where it'll click.

EDIT: Also, Natch, if the bit about disability is true, then perhaps a small amount of it can go food...even if it's snack foods. A box of pop tarts is, like, $5.

And they're healthy.
