So I'm flipping out today over a job interview that's today, and I call the place to ask a question. They told me the interviews are next Saturday, when June is practically over. Which means that even if I got a job, I'd only be there a month, because I'm gone a week in July and I've only got a week in August before I'm off to college. Ugh.

I don't think they want me wearing my regular greyish shoes but they actually fit and can hold their own ground so until I get my first paycheck they'll just have to deal with it (or I'll just get fired, either way.)

bro, this game is fun, I'm playing it for a good reason. Have your opinions, but I'm not going out of my way to try another game in the same genre if the first game already fulfills my wants.

I'm assuming you're talking about the non-slip shoes being too small, and wanting to wear regular shoes instead for comfort?
If so that is a baaad idea and nearly every place will send you home until you come back with the right shoes because it is way slippier than you think back there, and they do not want to risk the legal issues if you slip and hurt yourself because you wore the wrong shoes.

my parents didn't go shopping yesterday so i only ate dinner yesterday and they're not going shopping until after my hospital appointment which is in the late afternoon so i don't get breakfast or lunch today! oh and i don't have any cheddar so if my parents don't have any spare cheddar i won't get anything to eat at all.

Thought I'd nailed a story in a first draft/outline but I realise now it's too complex to communicate everything that happens in such a short number of pages.

I've figured out that I need to completely remove one character (who I can see was surplus to requirements now anyway) and pretty much rebuild the story from scratch.

Trying to get a story to fit in a given page limit takes a lot of trial and error - you need to think (in advance) about how many pages you're going to need to commit to fight scenes, important pieces of dialogue, etc. etc. It's something I'm having to learn cold and it's not easy.

I can easily think of enough stuff to fill up 80 pages of comic but cutting a story back to 40 or 20 pages (and still keeping it interesting) is a real headache.
