Natch, the whole basis of emotional abuse is that the abuser makes the abused feel dependent on the abuser. THAT'S why you don't see it while everyone else does. We're not doing this to screw with you. We're doing this because you're genuinely suffering and we want to see your life improve. One of these days we're hoping that this message sinks in and you start listening to us over the shitty people in your life. We went over this when there was scrutiny over your parents doing to same exact thing to you.

It's simple: What that guy did was horrible. What that guy did would be horrible to anyone he did it to to anyone who would be a witness to it. There's no moral obscurity, he betrayed not only your trust, but the feelings you had for him. Of the two of you, only one of you has any right to be angry, and that's you. If you don't believe me, just listen to how silly this sounds.

"How dare you tell people I cheated on you! Why would you tell everyone I betrayed your love for me for them to judge me like the shitty human being I am!?"

Natch, again, he's not even worth the glance you'd have to take to your phone/watch to tell him the time of day.

While reading it, I grew slightly confused by something. Is it about the individual in question who caused the mess (but isn't directly the ex-boyfriend), or us talking about how she needs to cut him out of her life?

I'm assuming Vax was directly addressing whoever actually contacted Nacahl's ex.
