What in particular do you hate so much about Facebook?

Re: Things that piss you off
For me it's a privacy issue. As long as you have facebook open in a tab it can see what other sites you visit and what you search in search engines.
Plus it's annoying and more often than not the things it notifies me of are arbitrary and annoying. I don't care if someone invited me to play farmville. I want to be left alone.

Re: Things that piss you off
The ad thing is a bit annoying, but I tend to just ignore them.
As for game requests and such, you can block invites for certain games and even from certain people. Whenever a new fad game surfaces, I just block the game when I get the first invite, and then I don't have to worry about it for months.
The only thing that really peeves me about Facebook is the new "suggested pages", where it decides that you might like certain pages and puts notifications about it on your news feed. Seriously Facebook, I've never even SEEN Nashville, and I don't like country ANYTHING, why would I ever consider liking that page?

I have never had a facebook account in my life, ever.
It's why I'm so relatively sane.

My boss is the biggest cock bag ever.
I do mom a favor and work for her so I get to spend the whole day getting yelled at for no fucking reason.
His son is one of our drivers, and he said that he was being especially bithcy today.
At least I'm not the only one.

also i'm rustled because the fight is especially dumb
Mom and stepdad are arguing about stupid shit, nothing new here, but my dog is curling up next to me so I'm between them and him.
It's funny and pathetic at the same time.

Why is trying to arrange a simple hangout with a friend so unlawfully hard.
Re: Things that piss you off
It doesn't even need to be opened in a tab. It puts a cookie on your computer any time you go to any site that has a Facebook widget, which is almost all of them, that then keeps track of where you go.Cori wrote:For me it's a privacy issue. It was night for the Sony E3 conference and I'll be at school for the Nintendo conference.
This is horrible.

my old boyfriend keeps asking me for advice about this game he's making and oh god i wish there was a polite way to say that i bodaciously do not care at all about his work any more because it no longer affects me and to stop asking because i really, really don't care
ughh

Re: Things that piss you off
so
when Birth By Sleep released i bought the box set with my hard earned $80 and i was so excited to get my pretty silver PSP and a game i'd waited a long time for
but right out of the box my UMD was broken. it played, but the disc is loose in the case so every 3 seconds it asks me if i want to go to the main menu, like i pressed the home button. it basically made it unplayable
at the time i either did not have the time to go back to gstop and ask for a new one, or i just kept forgetting. either way, it's two years later and i want to fucking finish that game but can't and i am pretty sure my exchange period is quite over.
so um help? is there a way i can fix it myself? because i really hate having a game i can't play and it might make a little less really rustled off that i got a defective disc right out of the really fancy box i paid a lot more for.

Re: Things that piss you off
hey
so someone contacted my ex-boyfriend on steam, linked him to a comment i made about him in this thread and told him to stop bothering me
now you see i'm not really that mad because i really think whoever did this (and i think it would be better if i didn't find out who did this just to make things less awkward) really meant well by this but now my ex-boyfriend has it in his head all i do is bad mouth him constantly and because someone contacted him on steam he also has it in his head i told everyone who he was and now he thinks there's loads of people out there who knows who he is and hates him
so, yeah he's really mad at me and i think this actually going to destroy or permanently damage our friendship which really sucks because he's my best friend and my only friend at that.
i don't really know what else to say but whatever happens happens i guess and like i said i'm not mad at this person because i really think they meant well but i just want people to know that this is happening
