AWKWARD ZOMBIE

First meeting with the therapist earlier today. He made me talk about everything wrong with my life (which is normal) and made me justify everything down to my sexual preferences. I know it can sometimes be not completely irrelevant but I hate having to justify myself. Then he criticized my whole personality and basically said I was an ineffectual freak (breaking news) before giving me some pointless homework to do before the next time. And then my father decided I was not radiant enough (because 1:15 of mommy issues and forgotten humiliations should make everybody pop flyin') so he told me I should collaborate more with the therapist even though he has no idea how the meeting went. He just decided I am the only reason anything in my life can be not constantly shitting rainbows, so of course if I was not super pop flyin' after having met the therapist it meant I made no effort.
I don't think I want to have any more meetings. I'm perfectly able to give my existence a disdainful glance and call myself a waste of space, I don't need someone else to do it with me, thank you very much.

Jesus, is there ANYONE here who doesnt have asshole parents?

I guess most people with healthier social lives have alternatives to the Internet when they want to talk about their problems.

In other news, my mom was guilt tripping me for wanting these kutsuwa eraser kits, saying i wouldn't like them.

We came up with a compromise, though, (I pay her about ~$20 of the amazon order while she pays about ~$10), so i'm not really super upset at anything, just mildly rustled at her assuming that I wouldn't like something I've kind of already proven I /do/ like, and have shown a fair amount of interest in.

My parents would use that logic as well.

"Mom, I want *thing*!"
"But you wouldn't like *thing*..."

Really? Why do I want it then? What sort of sense does that make?

My dad is really awesome and caring and a great guy.
My mother constantly criticizes me, puts me down, and shames me whenever I don't do exactly what she expects me to do.
I avoid this problem by not visiting home unless I absolutely have to.

So, I mean, I only have 50% asshole parents.

The more I hear about the X Bone, the more my blood boils. And I'm not even an Xbox person.

McGuire's is looking for a dishwasher, and also has some other positions I could possibly fill. The pay looks reasonable considering how far away it is, but the ad has no contact information. They want me to apply in person and it's just a little bit late for that today.

I hope these jobs still exist tomorrow morning.
