You may have a point.
On the other hand, Oswald the Octopus insists that everything is fine, everything is okay, and that nobody else can see him because I'm the only one who believes in magic.

Re: Things that piss you off
I have been living in a hotel again for the past four weeks. My mother is supposed to hear back about whether or not she's going to get this job today (tomorrow at the latest). If she does not get it, then I need to work up the courage and resolve to leave her and our dog behind and go somewhere else because I can not take living my life like this anymore. I would essentially be leaving her here with no place to go and I don't know what she would do or where she would end up.
Friends keep telling me I need to leave but the reality of what I'd be doing tears me apart.

There are too many new people on here.

Well when it comes down to it, I think whether it's now or later down the line, you're eventually probably going to leave her to start living your own life as all sons and daughters inevitably do. Of course, it's good to help and support your parents, especially in times of need, but if you feel that your life is unsatisfactory, and you want to take advantage of other options, opportunities, or just to try to find your way in life, then regardless of what happens, you're eventually going to have to go your separate ways in some way, shape, or form. She probably won't immediately understand your position, and it probably feels very powerfully inside of you that you owe it to her to stay with her and support her, but that has to work both ways. One can't solely live for the other, y'know? She may even understand that you need to make your life decisions based on your own comfort and happiness, not just hers.
It's a shitty situation though, and I'm pullin for ya.

Or, y'know, whatever.

I think you've been extremely supportive of you mother Sheila, which says a ton of good things about you. But you're not obligated to keep taking care of her. You deserve to work for your own things in life and find the stability that you deserve. It's a tough thing to strike out on your own and I understand you're feeling as if you'd be leaving her on her alone, but you want other things in life than to take care of her and having to move as much as you do.
As long as you know you've got friends willing to help you if you need it.

Re: Things that piss you off
I failed my English Final. That test was full of stuff that was hard to get into and analyze, and 50% of my grade depended on a timed writing of a shakespearean passage, which was hard for me to get into and analyze, and I didn't even start the timed writing because I was busy doing the multiple choice. The multiple choice was only 35 questions, and we had to analyze three passages. The answer choices for each question barely made any sense.
