I'm not familiar with that brand but it sounds like the cost of repairs will cost more than a new or used "okay" flute - maybe not when you first get it repaired, but if you keep it, and its as sucky as you say it is, it will need more repairs in the future. Repairs will make it more useable but it's better to have something more reliable in the long run.

Yeah, I've got the only flute the college has, and to be honest, it's worse quality than mine, but all the keys are working on it, so it's better than nothing. I guess I'll have to hope that they'll take me on my word that the instrument is shit, and I am hella nervous, and they'll accept that as the terrible breath control and clumsy tone.

Most college level professors can tell the difference between a bad instrument and a bad musician.

Just play as if you were using the best flute ever, and let the instrument's mistakes be the flute's and not yours. As long as you let the audition listener know beforehand I'm sure you'll be fine.

My college life in a nutshell. Just replace Imgur with every other fucking image site there is.

I told myself I wouldn't go on Imgur until finals are over. I removed it from my New Tab page and everything.
I've gone on to upload stuff to use here but that's it.

It... hasn't really helped a whole lot, considering I still waste time here. But at least I don't spend several hours at a time on imgur, and I at least return to my studies every so often.

I'm really bad at focusing. I might lock myself in the library next week.

I just learned a new type of needle at work, one that has overtime, and am just waiting for the stress test to be done on them, and I find out today that they're getting rid of the overtime on that needle after this week.
Talked to my department head, she's looking all over the company for overtime, but it looks like there is NONE.

If I just had overtime like it usually is, I wouldn't have to worry about cheddar. I would go from $267 a week to $400+ a week.

I'm hate this place so much.

Once I got a college t-shirt in the mail after I graduated high school, and she started wearing it and then got a bleach stain on it.
I was mad. It was a nice shirt.

Last night was really bad. Roommate has been getting worse and worse recently with her depression, and it came to a head. She was at her parents' house, because she wanted her sister to be her the first person to wish her pop flyin' birthday, and her dad said some horrible things. "If I was <Lotharu> I'd have been fed up and kicked you out months ago. Cut off all contact. I am surprised he is still friends with you." "Yeah, you get sad and say you wanna kill yourself? Then do it. It's getting old."
She texted me saying she wanted to wreck her car and kill herself cause of him, then left her parents' place, and cut off all communication. I heard sirens of in the distance and freaked out, couldn't find my car keys so I ended up just running barefoot in the direction of her parents' house. Saw her driving towards the Wendy's and ran after her.
On my way there, a group of trailer trash started harassing me yelling "Why are you running? Huh?!" and I eventually said "You don't need a reason" or something like that, and they were all "You don't have to get RUDE. You wanna go?! I bet I could take you, anyone else wanna bet?" The rest started to circle me and he was taking off his shirt (Why do people do this to fight???) I randomly grabbed my knife before I left, thankfully, and took it out and just started walking away. They all shut up.
Found my roommate, she drove off before I could talk, but I was convinced at that point she wasn't going to do anything to herself and went home.


My feet are so torn up right now. Eventually she came home and we started her birthday celebrations, ended up going to sleep really late, still couldn't find my car keys so I had to get a ride to work today.

I mainly wanted to complain about my feet and the trailer trash, but it would be weird without backstory.
Man my feet hurt. Also, Car battery died, jump started but gotta have it run for an hour, yay waste of gas.
My dad said in the newspaper there was a call to the cops about a knife wielding man in my area, wouldn't be surprised if they called the cops on me.

God DAMNIT I bodaciously set the microwave for three seconds and it turned my stroopwafel into charcoal.

Also, my throat is really sore and hurts when I swallow anything.

I get mad at video games a fair amount and I hate that I let something so trivial gets so under my skin.
