Even if you get a bargain instrument you NEED to keep it maintained and repaired.

Try asking your music instructor if there are some cheap repair options? From my flute experience it sounds just it just needs some maintenance, maybe replace a few pads and tighten some springs.

The situation has escalated.

And I don't know what to do.

okay so i've been interviewing at places live every single week and NOT A SINGLE ONE has hired me. And the last three interviews I found out that they filled the position the day before and they tell me "we like you so much that we're gonna keep you on file un til a job opens." which will never fucking happen. i have more of a chance for the job fairy to catwalk out of my booty and grant me a job then i am to be actually hired anywhere.

I've applied at a few places around town for a small job. I wasn't old enough for one, another wasn't hiring, and at the last one they ended up hiring some guy with the same name as me. That last one made me a little mad.

The subway I regularly eat at and actually know the manager of will regularly hire other people from other subways before me simply on the merit of experience. I've a tually been nto,d to lie about having experience just to get a job. I wouldn't have to do that if the owners weren't dense as fuck to the concept known as "initial experience."

I'm having a similar experience with jobs. I haven't had one yet, and it's so difficult to get the first job.. We can't start working until people give us a shot.

Roommate has a girlfriend who's essentially in the very same position, only she's a bit more complying.

Now...she's also EXTREMELY clingy to my roommate because he's able to provide her with the social connections/decent living arrangements that her parents wold otherwise be suspicious of.

I have to make a website for this class with examples of assignments I did throughout the year

I just
think its really dumb

especially considering we never even looked at how to use Google Sites in class. As much as I like Google services, its not as intuitive as I'd like it to be.

After constantly telling my roommates to put games they take out of the 360 BACK IN THEIR CASES, they lose Defiance. I found it in one of their rooms (They had taken my 360 in there for some reason, I dunno, then took the game out and left it) on a counter in direct sunlight. There is a scratch near the edge and a big bubble throughout the bottom. It still plays, but what really angers me is the fact that she tried to say it was ME who took it out without putting it in the case.
I take such good care of my discs and systems to even suggest that made me so freaking angry. I even take the disc out when moving the system since the 360 has a tendency to completely destroy them if they start spinning while the box itself is moving.
So, once again, I get mad at them for something, and they get mad at me for "stressing them out".
Screw them. I thought we were kicking this one roommate out. Been here since February and hasn't paid a single bill, isn't even looking for a job. A drama whore and doesn't even try to trust any of us, and gets mad if we show a hint that we don't trust her. Keeps stringing along my really good friend roommate and I'm tired of seeing them fight, and having to stop them. They've broken up about six times, they don't even like each other I don't know why they keep getting back together.

Agh, I am terrible at arguments. I feel like that stupid stubborn person who everyone hates to argue against because they stick hard to their guns and have no proof or backing to their beliefs. I'm not gonna go into taboo topics about this because I don't want to continue this discussion, but I don't like marijuana and all I can say about it is "It's bad". That's all I've been really taught since I was a child. Other than "It makes people do stupid stuff" all I can say is that it's bad, because people do stupid things without it anyway. It's just bad. I don't like being roped into conversations where I have no words for and that belittle my knowledge of things.

who cares this much about things really

You could try doing a little research if you want to learn for yourself.

But yeah, I'm not a big fan of falling into arguments that I couldn't care less about, then the other person thinks they've "won" because of my apathy.

Don't discount it so quickly. I can recall two times when I was job hunting, went in for an interview, found out they hired someone else, and then got a call a few months later asking if I'd like to give working there a shot

Granted the chances aren't that great, but if they actually tell you that they like you then it seems like it wouldn't be out of the question at all

This isn't to say that you should just sit and wait for these places to call, or turn down another opportunity for one of these. Just wanted to point out that getting a callback from one of these places isn't as unlikely as you might think.

Trust me, she used to be a lot more compliant about this stuff when her parents got mad at her. She might have been frustrated, but she accepted it as normal or acceptable for the longest time. It's only been the past year or so that we've drilled into her that this isn't right and that she's being abused by them. She's starting to believe that this isn't how parents should be treating their kids.

Yeah, I guess. But then I think that I'll start being for what I'm against and it'll all be an elaborate plot I'll fall into. Which is silly, so yeah I'll do a little research.
