I'm doomed. My partner still hasn't finished the rigging the frog or the stream shovel for our Junior Project. We were supposed to be animating by this week and now we are really behind and I don't know what the fuck to do. I highly doubt we are getting this project done on time.

Half of one of my YT video game music playlists has suddenly been deleted.

I was doing a cross stitch in class that was a gift for Tuxedo Mask before what happened and the thing is I mailed to it him out of spite and now every time I go into class I get everyone asking stuff like "Oh where's your cross stitch? It was beautiful! You must bring it in again one day!" and I'm not very close to these people so I don't want to explain what happened but I've tried to lie and say "Oh I've finished it and it's at home..." but the teacher keeps insisting I bring it in and show everyone and now I'm worried it's going to affect if I pass the class or not.

And the thing is even if I ask my ex boyfriend to for it back then I'm still going to have to finish it and I really, really can't bring myself to do that. I don't even want to see the thing again anyway.

So I don't know if I should just come clean and be honest about what happened or just keep lying about it and see what happens.

Tell them what happened - the truth; I expect they'll be sympathetic if you come clean about all that.

You can always start a new cross stitch piece, after all.

I`ve come to terms with the realization that its entirly my parents fault that I wasnt able to choose a school for next year.

Reasons being that the time I was supost to figuring that stuff out was when my mom broke her arm TWICE and I was distracted by taking care of her when my dad was trying to secure a job. I`m not nessisarly blaiming then, but they forget how much they effect me and stress me out.

Not to be antagonizing, but I was imagining something way more manipulative when you intially said it was their fault. I can imagine the cause and effect of it being true, but you made it sound like they almost took a gun to your head and told you which school to go to.

I say this primarily because I'm too used to the horror stories my roommate and his girlfriend give me (like, they threaten to cut her off completely if she doesn't major in or live where they say she should) so maybe I'm biased...

After trying to bring back death penalty and outlaw abortions, having removed gun control, having dropped out of Kyoto (and calling it "stupid") and an anti-desertification international program, making 16 years old be sent to prison, shouting insults at people in a gay pride parade, trying to prevent journalists from doing their job, giving free access to the parliament to a pro-life lobbyist who claims God speaks through her whenever it's convenient and thinks Jesus will be reborn in Canada if we become integrists, naming Minister of Science a creationist who thinks evolution is a lie, naming Minister of Environment a woman who previously worked for oil companies and thought global warming is a scam, using negative ads during elections just like in the USA, creating entire websites solely to spread propaganda against the opposition, wasting hundreds of millions of dollars to have propaganda about how they're saving the economy air every minute during years AND revisionnist propaganda about how Canada is a warrior nation that was forged in glorious war and exists because of war and we all should be proud of war and war war war and wasting billions on military airplanes because of successful lobbying that means we'll pay 10 times more than what they announced a few years ago (they actually lied about the price) for planes that don't even exist yet and won't even be worth it, having been ruled guilty of disrespecting the parliament, having stopped all parliamentary activity during over a month to avoid debating, having the olympic uniform sport their party's logo, naming plenty of people who only understand one of the two official languages at key positions, adding useless ties to monarchy everywhere, forcing the unemployed to accept any job in a 100-km radius, not giving a shit about ministers losing secret documents and calling up the army to pick them up when they feel like it, Harper's conservatives have removed all references to the national Environment agency on a government website and changed the background color to the one of their party.

Those were all things that happened since 2006, and the last one is very recent. Maybe it gets more media coverage in Quebec since we are generally more left-wing. Also I forgot to add that they sliced the funding of cultural things and severely reduced the CBC's, which would also explain why everything assbackward they do gets more exposure here.

Oh, and they reduced the funding of plenty of lay NGOs while giving more to religious ones whose explicit goals were to spread Christianity, homophobia and abstinence while discouraging the use of condoms.
