Like, this paper is already late but I might have to turn it in even later, or else just turn in a crappy paper, which is probably what's going to happen. Part of me really just wants to give up trying.

So one of my coworkers asked for me to cover her shift again a few hours ago (she did this last week, a few hours before the shift she wanted me to cover mind you) and I informed her that I wouldn't be able to because not only did I have plans but she was setting terms (She had three days off this week, and didn't want to give me any of them as a trade-off for me going in on my day off to cover her shift)for it. I explained to her I had plans I had made a week in advance not to mention covering her shift would have me working nine days straight before I got my other day off for the week.

She then proceeded to hang up on me before I could suggest using one of her other three days off this week to do whatever it was she needed to do tomorrow.

Because yeah that's a great response to being told no on a last second attempt to get the day off.

I'm upset that no cool conventions ever come to Little Rock. We've got the convention center (right under the VERY nice Peabody hotel and a few blocks from Double Tree), but all that ever goes on there are sweeps and commercial expos with the occasional musical reunion reception. I mean, really! I can't afford to travel, but would it be SOOOOO unreasonable to have a game/internet/nerd convention swing about once in a while?! I'm bored and have cheddar to throw at people sitting behind tables decorated with paper!

Katie, if you ever attend a convention in Little Rock, Arkansas, LET ME KNOW. It'd probably be wise to message a month in advance since I rarely pop up here. Fail to alert me and the dolphin loses its nipples.

Attempted to attend an open inspection. Traffic was so incredibly bad trying to get there. I normally wouldn't be driving around that time but that's when the open inspection was. Peak hour traffic time. So in case you were wondering, we missed it.

people who don't talk about 3rd world problems any other time but are more than pop flyin' to constantly bring it up when something horrible happens in the 1st world
