I don't understand why the booklet WOULDN'T be in the game case if you buy pre-owned, but usually it isn't. It's not like you need it, anyway. Everything in the booklet is always in the tutorial level in game, anyway.

I always want instruction booklets. I've been lucky about getting them with used games. The one time I didn't get one, I thought: "Oh, the tutorial level will tell me everything."
Whoops that game had a terrible tutorial. (MGS 2, if you're curious.)
Short version: Not every game has a good tutorial. Wanting the book is a legitimate concern for some games.

I have bodaciously never needed the book for any of the information that's been in it. At best, it's been a neat little thing to read about the game, but any sort of information that I'd ever get frustrated enough to actually look into outside sources to figure out, NEVER has that information been in that little booklet.

The I study the details of history, the more Im convinced that ideals like justice really are just fabrications that will immediaatly yield to whatever the people who hold authority decides is the most convenient right at the moment. Also, you only get punished for your crimes if its politically expedient to do so.
I wonder why they even bother to have war crime laws, there seems to be zero interest in enforcing them.

Look out at the stars. Those bright shining beacons of warmth and light. Look how they are surrounded and outnumbered by the dark spaces.
So there's more darkness than light?
No. In the beginning there was only one light. Now there is many. We are winning.

Sometimes I just don't feel appreciated. Sometimes, when I don't feel appreciated, I start to wonder if there's anything about me to appreciate in the first place.

If you're worried about not achieving anything worthwhile, the best thing to do about that is to go achieve something.

I had an alright day, at least nothing out of the ordinary when it comes to my slacker of a supervisor.
However when I got off work I made the mistake of greeting Ms. E.
Before I know it she's telling me about how her boyfriend's brother can't get his license till after June but him and her boyfriend are being kicked out of their Mum's place and then how her room mates were being passive aggressive/just aggressive because she wasn't gonna be renting with them any more and instead planning to rent with her boyfriend and his bro.
I just wanted to say 'Hi'! I was being polite! I held off on looking at the time for like 20 minutes! When I finally said I had to go she still didn't stop talking.
I only know her from work. I don't even work in the same department. As an acquaintance there is only so much information I need to know. That was too much information.
My close friends don't even talk that much.
