I swear, I learn more about that game from the internet than I ever could by playing it.

That's not what the announcer looks like, that's just what the most popular conception of what she most likely looks life, if she actually had an image.

Of course, there's a very small chance that Valve will give her an image, or anything beyond a homicidal attitude.

I seem to remember reading that Valve recently commissioned the artist that made that to do some work for the Valve store. I might have also read that Valve paid for that design/image/whatever, but that could have just been a rumor. So, if the announcer looks like anything, it's that.
